  • Dust off the airgun, or grab the Nerf gun, there's no excuse to let lockdown stop shooting. Join Callum in building a makeshift range in the garden to still get some trigger time and here's how you can do! Enjoy.

    I use really thick piece of outdoor indoor carpet hang it loosely and when it moves it catches pellet never had one penetrate I use three pieces and I'm shooting a 1300 fps semi auto pellet rifle. I shoot those ultra heavy ones and light ones nothing made it past the third one

    My local range is 10 minutes away, but I’ve always thought that air rifles are good enough for punching holes in paper. My friends and I all grew up with a Crossman 760 pellet rifle, and they’re just great fun. When my son turned 9 (now 32!), I bought him a Crossman 760 as well. He’s currently a collector of all sorts of firearms. Thanks for Sharing, Callum! 👍👍👍👍

    Nice outdoor range there, this would be a bit difficult in my garden, but I have got a permanent indoor range in my garage for point and shoot practice. I have the same type of 1911 my one is the Remington, one of my favourites. Hope your not getting too bored, also love the live streams👍

    I have been shooting from my van/rv.
    Looking through the scope I didn't notice the dish soap partially blocking the barrel. Lesson learned

    Iv'e built a mock IPSC range for airsoft in the garden - everything's contained and safe, neighbours are cool etc. The thing is I can't believe how different it is to stationary target shooting/paper punching. Drawing from the holster, acquiring a sight picture against the clock etc - skills you take for granted until actually trying it yourself. Hugely challenging but of course tremendous fun. I really regret not getting into it sooner now.

    it's kinda odd, in a cool way, that a country such as England, with some of the toughest gun laws in the world, also seems to have the most knowledgeable air gunners. my hat's off to you sir. that said, that old break barrel appears to have some legit power. it seemed as loud as some of the standard velocity 22 lr i have shot. it's like my benjamin prowler and its anything but quiet. it's a 22 cal and when i shot it in my cousin's back yard here in town and it echoed off the houses lol. i stacked 2 half inch pine boards and shot into it with a domed hp pellet and it went completely through one and half way through the other and i'm certain it could cause a lethal wound. even a multi pump daisy i have nearly passed through one board with 10 pumps and a steel bb. keep up the good work brother

    • @James28R
      @James28R 2 роки тому

      errr you are equating noise to power? don't, its at most 1/10th the power of a standard 22lr

    Built one a couple off days ago for air rifle and BB a old hollow door with 2×4 screwed to the back off the door the 2X4 are then screwed together with metal joining plates screwed to the back off the 2x4 for surport. On the front off the door carpet has been screwed on then this has all been wrapped up with some black gather tape. I have also screwed some wood on both side to prevent ricashades off the BB going into next door i know i spelt ricashades wrong by the way lol

    my target range is much simpler. an old pillow tapped on a 6 or 7 inch thick polystyrene frame. I tape the paper targets and everything stays within thin the paper target as my back garden only offers a maximum of 16 yards and I use my HW 97. the pillow has happily swallowed all the pallets and I didnt see anyone managing to reach the polystyrene let alone the brick wall behind it.

    Hey you could always do videos of shooting different things at your new air rifle range. Anything from boxes, tin cans and miscellaneous objects for fun. This is what I used to do in my backyard air gun range.

    seems like were all on the same brain wave i bought a few days ago my first air rifle a umarex 850 m2 from pellpax and set up my range yesterday, still waiting on the delivery but they have said theyre completely snowed under with orders and are down a few staff. ALSO regarding your airsoft mags usually when a gun vents gas like that its because of dry seals in the main valve in the top. Where the hammer would strike. try dropping lube in the top down into the valve and press it a load of times. But also ensure the nozzle in the upper receiver (black bit that pushes bbs) can move freely as this can also cause vents when its locked in place due to it not racking the slide and keeping the hammer on the mag valve. Hope this helped and hope you all stay safe

    I've got 3 pistols all about 5-5ftlb all got stock extentions for better accuracy and silencers to keep them quiet but knowhere to shoot legally however I own my own house and could make a safe shooting range max 25mts.... Are you sure you can legally shoot in your garden when there's the neighbours and a conservatory business over my fence...... I wouldn't want a pull... Thanks great video enjoyed it 👍🏻

    How does UKARA work in relation to Action Air?

    • @EnglishShooting
      @EnglishShooting  4 роки тому +1

      Action air guns are still covered by UKARA, however there is less of a need in action air for them to look realistic so going two tone shouldn't be an issue. Some gun shops will take UKPSA membership as a valid defence but they are in the minority.

      @@ek8710 We can have real guns in the UK to the extent of still being able to do most disciplines, though we are very limited in comparison, sure. That said even most Americans can't practically go shooting with real powder burners in their gardens/yards either. That's one reason many IPSC shooters the world over train with airsoft - trigger time is trigger time and there's a tremendous amount of crossover with the skills.
