The new Dimmu is so much better. Vortex and Mustis were just a phase. The true Dimmu Borgir are these 3 masters. Respect
I bought this album and love it. It's not their greatest but it is still epic. I enjoy their new angle on black metal. The grandiose nature of the album makes me smile. The band that can do the same thing over and over and still be fucking awesome is Amon AMarth. Dimmu is a band that thrives off of new concepts and ideas. It works for them as artists.

Sample hin oder her. Ich finde es ja schon komisch, dass es genau die gleiche norwegische Metalband ist, bei der die, wirklich sehr auffälligen Gemeinsamkeiten vorhanden sind.
Aber die eigentliche Moral von der Geschichte? Metal ist so gut und vielseitig, dass sogar Rapper diese Musik übernehmen.

If you want to know anything about Dimmu Borgir when it comes to the appearance and generally what the music and name means this is the right video; the dark, cold dark mountain formation in Iceland, wolves as companions of live out there etc.,. As a brand new fan, i like Vortex's voice A LOT, but so far my favorite album is Abrahadabra. i've read here, and elsewhere that it wasn't as well received, and it appears that there's some debate among the fandom as to the strength of the band without some of the recently departed members. i think that's a shame. We can still enjoy what they did together, the older albums don't go away, the people are just heading in different directions now! i think it's exciting to see what they do next!

While I prefer the glory days of Puritanical and DCA (with the most epic line up ever) I applaud Dimmu. They are still at it - and they are still putting out very high quality music. Cheers.
How to alienate your audience:
- sack fan favorite members and only put focus on the three responsible for said sacking in focus
- make sure you hide away any new members to put emphasis on formerly mentioned three members ego, in a music video
- release a new album that is more akin to a Disney movie/Nightwish song than what made you famous in the first place.
- congratulate yourself on a recent shitstorm by naming your new single the name of your band
- basically be Dimmu Borgir

I tend to favor bands who incorporate orchestral arrangements into their music, and Dimmu Borgir does it very well. This song is just so full of melody, and meaning. I must admit that I only discovered Dimmu Borgir just recently, but already I've developed a deep appreciation for their music. Although I am Wiccan, I do accept and even embrace that dark side of myself. I once did walk the Path Of Satan so that I could better understand that dark corner of my being and how it is necessary for balance. Norwegian black metal is just so unique, and powerful. I like King Diamond as well, but after watching the first video I did of DB, I decided that DB makes Kim Petersen look like an altar boy lol
