Hey Everyone, today we get the badging redone, do some ridge reaming and valve work. This should get us ahead a lot well we are waiting for our rings and parts. Stay tuned.

Hey Josh, put a spring over the shaft of the bolt on the valve tool to keep the forks seperated 👍

Brings back many memories. I worked at Tayor and Pearson machine shop in Edmonton in the early sixties. We put together "millions" of those engines. Those valves are so easy to adjust when the engine is on the bench on its side....not so easy in the vehicle.

That one long stud on your fuel pump is for a heat shield. I am sure I have an extra one I will give you when I get home in the spring.

Thanks Steven, It’s not a machine shop for sure. The valve is for sure sitting lower than spec but it is what it is. Hoping to get the valve machine here so I can dress the stems😃

Haha! They did actually yank the keys out and manage to get them to the other side of the room. Good thing it has a stomp starter and not a turn key. Lol
