- Winota, Joiner of Forces is one of my favorite Modern MTG (Magic: the Gathering) cards.
It's a shame that this cEDH (Commander) powerhouse doesn't see more gameplay in the Modern format!
She's the type of lady to bring people together! You'd think she'd be welcomed back into Modern after Fury's banning...
But in today's MTGO gameplay video, we get just the opposite with our NEW Mardu Winota deck!
Winota makes a Modern Rakdos Scam player SALT when they didn't have Fury to save them!

Did you consider putting one or two Caverns in the deck to make sure Winota hits the field? You do have a decent number of Humans.

Awesome suggestion. I was going to suggest maybe 3 considering every human has a double pip, but getting an early Ragavan or ensuring Giver can be played is a big upside, so two would be spot on.
So Chlorine has the extra electron to donate, it exists as Cl- in solution while it exists as Na+. Its the extra electrons that search for the missing electron, so the arrow travels from Cl- to Na+

Would be awesome to see isshin, two heavens as one in this list, would be edh squad taking over modern, effect compliment each other nicely aswell, and isshin is mardu colored aswell

@@Control4Daze "Isshin, two heavens as one" is a known edh card, when creature attacking causes ability to trigger, it triggers again, which would do nicely with winota. But it may be a bit unnecessary with the build

Greetings, do you still play legacy and play it less frequently or have you moved away from it completely? If so, was there a major factor in that?
Hey! I haven't played Legacy since 2019...I took a break from Magic (for about 2 years) and sold my duals/LEDs at that time.
I started playing again in 2021 after a cross-country move. The local scene was all Modern, so that's what I bought back into. I fell in love with the format, and the rest is history.
I've thought about getting back into Legacy, but Storm doesn't seem viable, the same way it once was. Doomsday is appealing, but I know I would need to invest a significant amount of time to be good with the deck.
I'm going to start putting out some Legacy content in 2024, but am unsure if I will go "all in" on the format, like I once was.
