47:48 just to clarify, prototype creatures become that color if you pay the alternate cost. The angel you have there is colorless because you paid full price, but the one earlier that game was white and stoppable by mom
Disapointed the series is over so soon, but still great to see more draft stuff. Getting a trophy with a AR on the bottom of your deck every game is hilarious.
Saturday videos will never be “the norm” but they are the best place for me to drop cube videos (which I enjoy making). Saturdays will probably have something for a little while
I'm a little surprised not to see any consideration for Uro, given how much incidental green fixing you had. But an excellent deck nevertheless. I can't wait to see how the league goes
Uro is much better in constructed than in cube, because filling your graveyard and to a lesser extent having UUGG is pretty hard in the format, so it's basically just Growth Spiral most of the time
Pretty sure Astral Dragon-ing the Batterskull would just give the opponent a 3/3 beater since creatures cannot be equipped to other creatures and thus the copies don't actually have any relevant text.
I have been waiting for Astral Dragon on Mtgo for over a year after release of CLB. This week, people scooped an EDH game after I Bant-ramped into Dragon, made two copies of the opponent's Anointed Procession, and continued to Croaking Counterpart the Dragon on the same player's Smothering Tithe. I had over 40 dragons of various enchantments. It was turn 7... and I didn't even play competitive ramp.
At 5:55 , why did you not consider Urza's Saga? Looks to me to be the strongest card in the pack by far, and you only have one tutor target now, but it's early and you can pick up more.

I'm curious at Batterskull over Adeline once you cut some of the artifact synergies. Is Batterskull really better straight up as a 5 mana control finisher?
So, Multiple times in Round 2, you talked about how if you cleared Gideon you were feeling good, yet you never equipped Lion Sash to your flyer. Did you forget that it's an equipment too?
Probably tunnel visioned on making the shark, though I think I needed to solitude the tracker and solve the Gideon problem another way if I wanted to win that.

In cube, it’s hard to fill your graveyard fast to take advantage of Uro. It’s not as great as it is in 60 card formats.
Uro is usually an Explore in cube.

Astral dragon is such an underrated battlecruiser/casual EDH card. Puts in work in my Esix simic Timmy deck.

The lifelink on Batterskull is pretty huge at stopping a control deck from getting burnt out by Bolts after stabilizing the board.
