you guys always apologize for not being the best players but I have trouble watching a lot of cedh content because its riddled with inaccuracy. You guys are actually really solid at the format and I love the content.
If im not mistaken attacking with najeela makes the warrior enter tapped and attacking the same opponent as what ever warrior created the warrior trigger.
We wondered that too and after looking into it because it doesn't specify which player or planeswalker the tokens are attacking the tokens controller gets to decide which player or planeswalker they attack. Let us know if you find rules saying otherwise as we will probably play najeela again.
2020-11-10: The controller of each Warrior token created by Najeela chooses which player or planeswalker it’s attacking. The tokens don’t have to be attacking the same player or planeswalker as the creature that caused the ability to trigger. They can even be attacking players or planeswalkers that weren’t being attacked.
Carlos played demonic tutor without paying the one extra for thalia guardian of thraben. Then he played bloom tender. He actually would not have been able to play both of these cards.
So im happy to see the cedh game play. I'd say that one of the hardest things is knowing when to keep a hand. As a pod player, I feel bloodpod is one of the hardest to pilot. Use tymna more draw more cards is key.
It was rough not being able to draw because of that Hullbreacher. I need to get a bit more spot removal in there for cards that hold back drawing cards.
Ok, not a bad video, thanks for keeping it pretty short. I like that you show in the center the last card played, however what might be a big plus is to explained a bit more in details some of the interactions (for instance what happened with that tainted pact ? Or with Lim Dul's vault ? The video quality isn't incredible (no offense) so it might be helpful, as it's sometimes a bit messy to remember what's on the board. Great job :) eager to see the next one.
I can see what you mean. Do you think a pause and explanation from a narrator or just showing a bit more of the gameplay would be best? The video quality comes from our streams, but Im looking for ways to improve it. Great feedback!
@@KingdomsTV Yeah, I get it for the stream quality, don't worry, it's normal, you can't expect all of your players to have onlyfans level cam quality ;-) I am not sure about how to do the detailed gameplay, a pause and comment might break the tempo or make the video longer (even if, tbh, up to 30min seems okay); but it can be hard to read just a bit of text/understand the gameplay without explanations for some cards. Remember, all your watchers aren't cEdh level players, so for some of them tainted pact or lim-dul vault can be confusing. I know Game Knight does small break where they explain their reactions or the game plan; not saying you need to copy them, but their success does have a reason ;-) I really did love that you showed the starting hand and mulligans, that is something I haven't seen elsewhere and I find it both interesting and a "teach moment". Maybe your players might explain why they chose that hand instead of another. Keep the good work!
Thanks! We are using the Spelltable software right now so we use webcams at our respective homes. Here is the link: www.spelltable.com/ I like to find games on the PlayEDH discord too.
I believe when Dave died, Jason should have got his Najeela back immediately instead of having to cast it, so he could have won a turn sooner by activating najeela in his end of combat step.
Truth! I just read up on that and only things the player owns are exiled. One of the reasons I enjoy cedh is getting a chance to learn some of the more obscure rule interactions.
Subbed love the cedh content
We have another game planned next week! I'm playing my Urza deck. :)
@@KingdomsTV nice looking forward to the video
It's a very good start. Great work! Looking forward to seeing more CEDH content.
Thanks! We have more coming soon.
Good videos.just found you guys!
Also high five for the time skips in the description!
I'm glad you found us and that you enjoyed!
Nice game!
I'm glad to hear it. Anything else you'd like to see next time?
Just subscribed. Great video. I quite liked the fast pace! A 10-15 minute video is the perfect mid-morning study break. Thanks for the content!
Awesome! I agree, at the very least I like to cut it down to the most important or funny parts.
love the cedh dudes. HELL YA
Sweet, with all the interest we are going to do some more soon. Any commanders you want to see?
Fun game! Looked good. Nice job!
Grazte!
Hooooooo Najeela!!!
How did they think this was a fair card? Haha...

Well, I appreciate that. I hope we can keep getting better and that you will continue to enjoy the content!
More cEDH please
Coming right up!
This was great! I love having another cedh gameplay channel with a good animation budget haha! Can't wait for more
More to come soon!

Apparently I've been playing it wrong, I was mislead from way back in the day with kaalia of the vast. This changes literally everything haha.
@@Disturbedelv121 Haha, no worries. A silver lining is now you can send those lil warriors wherever you want!

Good catch. We will do better next time!
Smooth gameplay! Even with stax present Najeela can sometimes just smash face still. Great to see.
Honestly I was super impressed by her ability to keep growing even with all the stax effects.
Yes
Maybe? >
I'm subscribing now

the cards displayed (in the beginning, starting hand) and in the middle when gameplay appear to be blurry although I'm on 720p
Thats weird. I just double checked and I'm seeing them fairly clearly. We are always trying to improve so will see what we can do on our next video!

You are correct according to rule 800.4a
I should have caught that. Nice catch.
Truth! I just read up on that and only things the player owns are exiled. One of the reasons I enjoy cedh is getting a chance to learn some of the more obscure rule interactions.
Where can I get a "The Way of Kings" playmat?
I got it from Inked Gaming! I also got our custom playmats made there. I live their stuff. www.inkedgaming.com/
Yeah, not gonna lie, when Dave played Thalia and then Carlos played Drannith Magistrate I felt pretty dang safe.
Once I saw the cards you had in your hand at the end I knew we never had a chance. :)
