Ridiculous. My P365xl exceeds my Glock 19 greatly. No malfunctions, mag problems or wear. It is fantastic.
That was constructive, thanks for the insight.
@@thepracticaltacticalminima3940 You are most welcome :)
@@jase1125 You've fired 200 rounds, and there's no wear in sight!
@@thegunpenguin actually, about 1,500. The review was okay. Just makes no sense to highlight all the great things and the fact that it runs great and then crap on it because it is made by Sig. It is either a great gun or not. Just disagree with the conclusion...shoot me :)
@@jase1125 I looked everywhere for you video, but I couldn't find it! Perhaps you can direct me to it.
PTM's magazines routinely self-destructed and this Sig model, among many others, has been plagued with problems. Those are legitimate criticisms. You're annoyed that an object you use to partially define your identity was criticized.
Perhaps the most honest review of the 365 XL to date. I have one and it instantly become my favorite over my Glock and others I’ve owned. I love the fit in my hand, the accuracy, and the reliability. I don’t like the 15 round mag but it will never be used in EDC. Is it perfect? Hell No!
But it’s still the best I’ve found in today’s market.
Wow. That was good. I went with the P365X without the romeo zero. I installed the Holosun HS407K-X2 instead. I also installed the TLR6 and added the mag guts +2 and base plate for 14+1. Now to go try it out. Thanks for the video. Subscribed.
That was a wise choice in optic, the 407k is significantly more robust than the Zero. Let me know how the first range trip goes!
I carry it still
It’s solid. Did you make any customizations?
This is by far my favorite EDC! Gun is friggin awesome. So accurate and easy to carry.
Glad to hear it. Do you have an optic on it?
No way I’d pick any glock over this. Lol
Different strokes. I’m glad there’s so many options. I’m sinking way too much money into a 365 right now.
Nice review I think 🤔 I like it but I want to try one I carry the M&P shield 9 mm but it only holds 8 good job 👍
The shield is great. How long have you been carrying it?
3 years and I'm still carrying it
Very nice educational video brother.
Thanks! I appreciate you watching and commenting.
Awesome job...dialogue was the best👍👍👍
Thank you for the support!
This is one of the best 365 XL videos on UA-cam.
You inspired me to get back into video making with your recent set change and massive update to your formatting! Keep being an inspiration.
@@thepracticaltacticalminima3940 I'm honored!
Uh, yeah, I don’t think so.
@@scottvincenzi4449 I looked everywhere for your P365 video, yet I could not find it.
Hahaha, whatever. I didn’t know I needed to make videos before I could comment. So sorry to have an opinion contrary to yours. You said “the best” I disagree, it’s not. Don’t be so sensitive Nancy.
you are out of your mind if you think the TLR-6 is "weak" it works great is super bright and almost every holster manufacturer makes a holster for the XL with that light 365xl with romeo zero and tlr-6 is my edc and I LOVE it
Hey thanks for the view and comment. I'm glad you're enjoying it the TLR6. What holster do you use?
Such a great breakdown of this firearm. I have watched countless videos referencing the P365XL and this is certainly the best one yet.
Thanks buddy, I appreciate that you watched!
Normally I'm weary about people trashing on sig because it seems to be the thing to do for views almost like saying Nickelback sucks. But im only 500 rounds in to my 365xl, and the 15 round mags getting the last 2 bullets in the mad i almost feel like im going to dent the casing of the bullet getting it in. i would 100% believe the stock baseplates would break. They probably need to be aluminum. and now im worried about it after seeing your pics lol. that being said I did buy different base plates as the stock 15 rounder mags have that squared off back side that digs in to my palm painfully (I do have big hands)
I do love the gun, I do like the Romeo Zero bleh bleh button sucks, you never push it after you set it up anyhow.
Thanks for the review.
This hopefully didn't come across as bashing Sig. I found some aluminum baseplates from FDEWerkz, but I didn't look forward to adding $35 baseplates to already expensive magazines. I'm glad you have good experiences with the Romeo Zero. Do you have one of the metal shields? Thank you for the comment!
@@thepracticaltacticalminima3940 No I found this review quite balanced honestly. and yes! I agree, these mags are insanely priced, even the m17 (I have one of those as well) and paying basically 100 bucks a mag is silly. I dont have the metal shield for my Romeo. I dont think its field grade, its not going to hold up to LE and Military use I doubt with out the shield at least. but sitting under my gut in my pants... its fine. I have zero problems EDCing this setup. I find some of the other reviewers of it to be a bit to over the top about this. people need to be honest with them selves about how its going to be used realistically.
You said it "doesn't do anything for me." Well, it will save your life. When you need to save your or your family's life, will you be bothered that the gun has a little finish wore off of the barrel? You did an amazing testing of this gun. You put it through what nobody's self-defense gun will go through, and it came through reliably. Mine fits my hand perfectly and feels great in my hands. I can control it very well, and I am pretty accurate with it, without having to take time to aim. With 13 rounds at the ready and another 12 in my pocket, I cannot imagine any other gun that would cause me to replace it. It would take something as industry shaking as the P365XL itself to make me rethink anything.
Hey, I'm glad it's working for you! Thanks for the comment and for watching.
I’d take the XL over Glock any day and run the risk of my spare 15 rounder not holding up to a “Pistol Crisis Mitigation” shootout. 🤣
It's a pretty compelling option. Thanks for the comment! Have you added any accessories to your 365XL?
@@thepracticaltacticalminima3940 The aftermarket grip modules are very nice. Funny enough the 15 rounder would stick slightly when released so i had to sand it down a little for a clean drop 😅
@@retroaggression7416 Which aftermarket module did you get? I was talking to the guy from Icarus Precision. Those look sweeeeeet.
@@thepracticaltacticalminima3940 you think those look slick check out greygun’s and armory craft’s 🤤
@@retroaggression7416 thanks! I will do. I’m pimping out a p365 out right now and am accumulating the new parts.
Great video thanks for the time you put into it.
I have some questions and don’t take it that I’m saying it in a sarcastic way, I want to purchase this firearm and I’m looking for all the cons.
If the firearm is reliable, it holds 12 + 1 ( which is good for a small firearm),and it looks decent why don’t you like it?
You also stated that you would take a revolver over it, ( so your not affected by round count) by the way I carry a J frame most of the time because it feels more comfortable and more concealable.
Hey, thank you for the view and the comment. I appreciate you engaging with the video. To answer your question, I can't really rephrase it any other way than I laid it out in the video. Barrel lock-up snagging when the trigger is pinned and abnormal finish, all five 15 round mags self-destructing at some point during the test, and history of Sig business practices quietly redesigning parts but not letting the consumer know just turned me off. It's a fine gun, and I used it exclusively for a year. This gun made it through more than 99.5% of gun owners could put it through. For that, I would never criticize someone for choosing it. It's a great gun and I'm glad it exists. But now that the experiment is over, I have no desire to go back to the XL. Especially when the market is being flooded with guns that all do the same thing. G43x, G48, Hellcat, Hellcat OSP, P365, P365xl, Shield Plus, Taurus G2c, Glock 26, etc. As I said in the video, it just personally does nothing for me.
@@thepracticaltacticalminima3940 thank you for your quick response.
🇺🇸
My p365xl was very tight out of the box. At least two rounds out if every mag would fail to go into battery. After i polished the chamber, feedramp and internal bearing surface of the slide it has ran 100% over several hundred rounds. With that being said i shouldn't have had to do anything but load and shoot it.
I'm glad it's working well now!
How many rds in now? Any mals/stoppages?
@@champy1210 just shy of 1,000 now. So far so good. I trust it enough to make it my primary carry gun.
You really just recommended a revolver over this? 🥲
You failed "listening comprehension" class.
@@thepracticaltacticalminima3940 snubby revolver is most definitely good you can shoot it within ur man purse nipple
Did the rounds rattle in your 15 round magazines? My 15 round mags rattle. My 12 round mags don’t.
I don't remember any noticeable rattle, but the 12 round mags are the way to go for sure.
I just noticed SIG finally start sourcing some P365 magazines from MecGar. Only noticed the 10 round mags so far. Hopefully SIG will have MecGar produce the 12 and 15 round magazines also. They’re far superior to the Checkmate mags.
No rattle on mine when the slide is closed. It does rattle a little when the slide is locked back.
How did you address lint buildup on the rmr as you carried it daily?
You should be checking your optic daily, so just use a q-tip or something soft to wipe out any big chunks. My optic is perpetually smudged, I only clean it when I apply catcrap every month or so.
What holster are you running/
TXC X1 AIWB currently.
This gun ran 5,000 rounds with only 3 minor stoppages, if feel sure your base plates broke after hitting the ground multiple times, and you say a G43 is better? Dude, really? I own 7 Glocks, including the 42&43. I’m a Glock guy too, but when I shot my P320 and 365XL, I fell in love. Good review, but 5000 rounds with 3 hiccups and you don’t recommend it??? Come on man.
thanks for the comment and for watching. I'm glad you're enjoying the sigs. Have you seen the new P365x? That's been my favorite combo.
What holster is that

Ughh!! Terrible music in the beginning
