Great video!
Great video thank you
Pretty cool. I’ll probably just stick to the grind wire wheel technique. Takes a 1/10th of the time and the results are the same.
Nice channel good luck dear
Thank you.
I use my hammer drill on 'hammer' only and sharpen a chisel that comes with it.
It's not without some strong work but it can be fast.
If I don't have either, would you recommend starting with chisels or the draw knife for removing bark?
Where did you get the sock for the Festool Vac hose?
Thanks for the video, question about the brown underbark. If you're going to finish the wood with oil can you leave that brown or does that need to be totally sanded off? Thanks
If you’re using oil, the brown overtime may slowly rub off, but if the wood is properly dried there’s a chance it won’t cause an issue at all.
Primitive Pete , on Walnut try a little water , peel right off
can bark be left on?
It can, but it all depends on the tree and the bark, sometimes it’ll fall off overtime and sometimes once you kiln dry it, it will stick on, but for the most part overtime it will eventually fall off, so we recommend taking it off before finishing.
Camera man wouldn't show the work. Kept camera on speaker.
