It was good to see what you have done. I have done simular with my Kia Rio. There is a couple of addition things I have done. With the sleeping board I have it made up of three sections joined by piano hinges so I can fold it and keep it in the back of the time all the time. The foam to sleep onI have a self inflating sleeping mat which works really well. Also to have air without bugs coming in I have a screen sleeve that goes over the door, this way the window can be open as much as you would like.
This is great, I'm planning on some stealth car camping in my Kia Rio this year, I'm only 5ft 2 so should be a breeze 😉, lucky for me, the new model I have, if I just remove the head rest, the seats fold flat and I can bring the level of the boot up so nice flat surface. I also raise the front head rests to the roof which holds a black sheet in place. Hopefully we will see some videos of your camps, good luck
Hi Mandy, I'll try raising the head rests at the front on mine too, thanks for the tip! It's definitely an advantage not being too tall & yes I'll do a few videos when I try it out. All the best, David.
Great. You are thinking out of the box. I was planning something like myself.
Cheers Rich...

Hi Lynelle, I might split my sleeping board as you have done, I've yet to try it out properly, soon I hope. All the best, David.

You are lucky to have the seat folding flat
Good tip with the head rest. Ill have to try that
Nice work 👍
Thank you!
If you're a bit taller you can use the bottom of the tilted seat as a "Pillow"
