So quick question. I have 2 engines a 1600 and an 1835 that both have crank shaft walking bad. Is there a way to make them more bullet proof with steel spacers versus the babbitt steel thrust bearinga?
How does this modification effect oil pressure? Would the bearing manufacturer have designed the bearing to block off half the hole for pressure reasons?
why in the hell did they make such of a F-UP like that .Now days you buy a new part and have to figure out whats wrong with it.In 2001 I got a new case that either the oil pump was to small or the case hole was to big and the oil would cavitate so bad it started up with 12lbs and dropped to 3. So I got a cast iron mellings and soildered it some and the same motor had 60 and dropped to 45 hot, both pumps were 30mm gears Nice uh.
Good videos, straight and to the point. They don't last for 30 or 40 minutes. Thumbs up.
