Canoo showed their prototype van at the 2021 Los Angeles. They were playing with interior space utilization enabled by not having an engine, transmission, radiator taking up space. They offered no comment when asked about financing, investing, and production at that show.
This one has a future! Heavy hitting orders will prove it. Smartly teaming up with Tesla, these guys aren't stupid. Glad to see their stock crawling upwards lately. I'll buy the "van" version hands down when they're available.
I gave pre-order $100.00 years ago and the vehicle is still no closer to being available to the public than it was then, so stop with all the sales pitching if your not going to make it available !
It's indeed a great idea, which I still like and would buy in a form of a vehicle. The question is when are they going to make vehicles? I don't get it why they don't make when there are lots of interests out there. If I am not mistaken, electric vehicles are not hard to make compared to ICE vehicles.
I'd buy one if they actually produced one. I'd be happier if Tesla stepped in and snapped them up and went mainstream with this design. I'd rather have this over the Rivian but I just don't see it happening.
