Most rich folks do buy luxury clothing brands, the difference is that they rather wear luxury clothing with no logos or small logos, and skip the big logos and crazy designs. That's why you see a lot of them wearing luxurious basics/essentials with no/small logos.
Having tailored clothes is also the way to look like your peak self. No one can outstyle someone wearing tailored clothes no matter what brand they are rocking.

All my clothes come from Amazon online or from the vintage, witchcraft, and bohemian shops from the mall close by, I don't shop for any clothes that's more than $100 unless it's jewelry, leather, or furs. Nobody can find anything I wear and I think I dress pretty cool! I do take inspiration from 60's and 70's fashion and from artist like Erykah Badu and Steven Tyler because they dress amazing to me but I just use them for ideas, all my outfits represent me and my personality. That's the great thing about fashion!
