I totally understand how you feel about this bike. I had a Rninet and a Monster 1200s. So I had 3 bikes at the same time. I ended up trimming off the other 2 and keeping the scrambler. I use this bike for everything quick local runs to the market to camping and hunting trips. This bike does everything I need.
I'm not into the sort of touring you do but I've done some similar mods. LED auxiliary lights (not Triumph), front fender extender, chain oiler, Triumph hand guards & heated grips, Triumph rear carrier, swing arm bobbins, a decent horn and Triumph lower engine bars. Those rear pannier mounts are the best I've seen and look real quality. That's an interesting and potentially worrying point about an impact on the exhaust breaking the engine casing mount. A bit of an oversight by Triumph on the design of their "protection" bars maybe. I might have to look at adding the Motech upper bars.👍
@@thecluelessadventurer I've not seen any but you could always get the black ones plated or powder coated. I bought the Triumph lower engine bars, which only come in silver and had them powder coated satin black as my scrambler has a predominantly black colour scheme.
Hey man. I love my 19 as a Adv tourer. It’s a great bike. Haven’t meshed with a bike like this one in along time. Thanks for your continued content on the bike.
Thanks for the video. Love the Scrambler 1200 (xc) Just returned from a 3 day ride. Use a 30L ADVWORX dribag on the seat/rack, secured with 2 rok straps. Perfect for me. Was wondering if you have any thoughts on an aftermarket horn ? Orig sounds lame.
Thank you, great video! I’m looking forward to doing the fork covers and upper engine bars. Did you have any trouble or have to improvise installing the uppers when you already have lowers? I also wish you knew where to get those foot pegs. I bought some on Amazon or eBay and they weren’t near long enough for my foot to have adequate purchase when wrapping around the lower engine bars. Glad to know a solution exists in the world. Cheers
Good video, thanks for that. I've only recently got my scrambler having ridden gsa's for years. Love the scrambler. A question though. How have you found the rear suspension for touring? Std setup feels very hard to me but I've not had the bike long..

Fab content, thank you very much. I'm hoping to buy me a Triumph Scrambler with touring in mind, your channel has given me alot of useful insights :)
Thank you sir!
I got the LED Fog lights and installed it.
I would have not known about them had I had not watched this presentation!
Thank you!
I've loved traveling on mine. Really stands out when you're somewhere really remote too, compared to the sea of ADV bikes that look roughly the same.
I own a 1200 XC since two years. I came from a Triumph T120. The Scrambler is a so much better touring bike. Love so ❤
Great info very useful may get spotlights you recommended thank you take care
Thank you very much for taking the time to record these valuable tips, greetings from Chile

I wonder if there are similar high bars just silver? The black/silver combo doesn't quite appeal to me.

Very nice and clear. Thanks!
I think those highway pegs are from Illium Works 😉

I've not changed mine, but I agree it is a bit tame.

One of the bolts (upper right side) was quite difficult to access. I had to ise a stubby spanner to get in the space. Otherwise easy to fit.
I have '19 XC fantastic bike, for me...

Have you adjusted it?
Yes but finding a comfortable setting hard to find.
Mine is standard and fine by me. One of the few bikes on which I've not changed it.
gorgeous bike but 26k in australia and dropping it would be expensive
My first bike is an XC. I want to add an XE just to turn my XC into a tourer lol
They are addictive!
