I agree. We just started Mia academy going on 2 months ago, and I’m learning with them. I also have Twinkl and get extra worksheets and resources to branch off thing’s. We live in PA so everything has to be recorded. Plus at the end of every yr I make them do one science project. Love Mia academy.
If you upgrade the Discovery k12 there is some flexibility and perks. I've used it before and it's quite good. I'm using it again because my 8th grader has asked to be homeschooled.
We did Miacademy for a few months, but I didn’t like it very much. I felt like the science curriculum was lacking. I mean, learning about dog breeds? Not what I want my kids spending their time on.
I agree. miacademy is colorful and kids would be attracted to it for the games that come along with it, but not very challenging for learning. Just my opinion after using it alongside my kids a bit. My kids have most benefitted from power homeschool. I know people were upset about changes but it never affected us as we don’t skip lessons because they are all Worthwhile.
My daughter would never sit through the power homeschool videos though (I wish she would because I agree they are good). It's a good thing we have choices, although I do wish there were a few more all in one programs!
That's a tough one! I like Time 4 Learning better but I think a lot of kids would prefer Miacademy. So a lot of it depends on what your kids like better, because I think they will learn more if they're enjoying it.

Miacademy or Time4Learning?
