I'm wondering if you or any of your subscribers have found a diagram or dismantling video for this heater? Delonghi does not repair them anymore and I have one that has a thermal cutoff switch that is faulty and another that needs a new thermostat. However, I cannot see how the control knobs come off. Appreciate any help.

Hi Tom 👋 i bought a small vintage trailer which has been renovated to run solely on electric. I have severe chemical allergies so my questions are 1. Do the Mr Heater propane heaters off gas after the initial burn off period and 2. Because I am also bothered by loud cycling fan heaters is there a smaller convection type heater that could run off a goal zero yeti 400 lithium solar generator with both surge and running? I found one in the U.S. (Im in Canada) that runs 475 w with surge 600-1000 so the inverter in the goal zero should be ok but it may drain it quickly (bar fridge also has to work off generator). Size is smaller than this one you are showing but still a titch too large as there is a cool safety system when the unit is latched and then unlatched onto the wall hooks. I test products here and this heater issue has me totally stumped!

does this produce a far infrared or near infrared or?? Does the heating element just go on and off or does it have ability to be set at a constant level of heat without the switch going on and off? What is the maximum temp of the mica when it is on?

An appliance that draws 1500W creates a fire hazard when used in an RV - most RVs have 14gauge wiring, and outlets that aren't up to spec for handling that kind of draw.

14 gauge wiring will handle 15 amps 120v or 1800W to 1850 Watts with no problem and I am an electrician.
