Awesome video mate, sick little 22m Acco compilation, collecting glass is the icing on the cake. Loved every second of it mate, was cool to see and hear mostly full bins here whereas some areas seem to have near empty bins, i guess less shared bins. Cheers mate
Thanks Mate! I must say I was pretty happy to see quite a few trucks out on this day, the 22ms hardly ever do glass so took the opportunity to get a good video, Quite a few full glass bins around here. Thanks for the comment & glad you enjoyed.
Victoria is rolling out a 4-bin system with a separate glass bin with a purple lid. This is because “It is very difficult to separate glass from other materials, limiting the recyclability of both the glass and the other materials. By collecting glass separately, we can make sure more of it is effectively recycled - with jars and bottles transformed into multiple different products, including new roads and footpaths.” All councils must roll out a glass bin by 2030.
Hi Dave 👋 I absolutely love this video and the smashing glass is very satisfying. I am "shattered " that I am late 😢

Why can’t they just put glass in the recycling bin? Why do they need a separate bin for glass?
That’s stupid

@@CitywideGarbo Are you saying that all councils in Australia or just Victoria are to roll out glass bins by 2030?
@@Garbo.andchasefan Just Victoria will have a glass bin.
@@CitywideGarboOk
@@CitywideGarbopretty lucky we live down here to get the glass bins.
why dident you film fn18100 and 20004
They were going to tip when I found them.
to be honest why did they have to seperate glass cause they could have just bought single passes
No point, cleanaway takes over soon and single passes are pretty big for some streets
@ oh i see that makes a fuck ton of sense thank you
