I couldn't find any videos showcasing the executions after knocking out "enemies" , so I decided to make my own video including them. I love using these in game, and I hope you find some you might have never seen before. (Black edges are from wearing a helmet with faceplate)

That’s strange, I don’t recall ever seeing a mace mercy kill with multiple strikes, I only ever get the singular strike.

It's random but yeah.. the single strike is more common at least in my playthrough

axe too. literally butchering kill rather than mercy

I believe it only appears if Henry only has the mace or axe equipped and nothing equipped in his left hand (such as a shield or torch)

They don't show the person that you are killing in the animations huh 😆

Probably too much effort to animate the dying person reacting to the final stab or wack.

Easier that way, as the receiving party may differ in size and position, so not showing them avoids all bugs of awkward positioning or actual hits missing the target.

It hides the fact that the animation you do probably misses the actual model entirely (or hits a non-vital area) and teleporting Henry or the body would be jarring.

It’s been a while since I played, but if I remember correctly, you just button mash whatever you have assigned for your default attack.
