Absolutely love it. Been puzzling between Novation Peak and Summit, and then I remembered SL MK III gives me so much control over multiple synths and VSTs that I'll settle for Peak now, and get SL MK III as controller.
This question may sound stupid. How are you managing to record loops without metronome on SL MK3. I am thinking how is it that this Controller doesnt have a metronome? Can you please answer ?
@@trobadorxxi8051 Hi. Thanks for your advise. Not sure whether i got you. Even to prerecord you need to have a starting point right especially if you are live recording and not step recording. And about beat of the music are you talking about a drumbeat? Because many times i dont start with a beat. I start with a motif of bass or lead or a pad which i want to be triggered from MK3. For sure I can work around the problem. The only way i see is that either triggering metronome on a different device or nudge the notes later which can be a bit more awkward. But many of the Synths or Controllers with Sequencers have a Metronome. I am baffled that this doesn't and want to know if there is an easy way to record a loop without worrying about the starting point.
Hey I am considering purchasing this keyboard, do you think that it is still the best available for the features etc? I actually bought it's little brother the launchkey mk3 61 and it is very nice but I kind of regret not buying this one. Would you buy It again today or would you get something else? Do you still use it? Thanks for your input.
I think the main difference with this model is that this one has its own "brain". You can play DAWless connected to synths. As well you can control daw plug-ins from the keyboard. With this info I would suggest is up to your need. I still use it and I'm happy with it!
No, I used the built in sequencer and I recorded the midi in situ in ableton. I have another video called “Beata Viscera” in which I used the Incontrol mode.
Awesome work really lush sound design man!
Simply brilliant
Absolutely love it.

Great performance.
Great job, very intersting and a great track !
I love your track 😍❤️🥰
Awesome!
Amazing 🎉
Really cool
Love it
Great! How many steps in stepsequencer you can record in SL61?
16 beats subdivided, and you can change the speed of each loop. You can play the 16 beats double time, half time...
Amazing performance!!!

You can allways help yourself with the beat of music, but also have prerecord loops. Hope this advise helps.

Thanks that is good to hear. I am weighing whether or not I want to risk getting the mk3 and then the next month seeing a new mk4 coming out hehehe 😂
Can we run this midi controller by the new apple silicon macbook air base model ? Thank you
No idea, sorry
Did you do this in INcontrol mode?
