"I'll do it in my Lexus"
*nervous LC500 sweating*
😂😂
If you do it it's dead
Question. WHERES THE RCF?!!
@@ProRacer6626 uhm, hello, you living under a rock ? It's been gone for years
Lexus: chuckles I'm danger
That Discovery going slowly through the water is actually how you should approach this with any car. Going fast only creates waves that fill your engine with water, breaking your car.
Yes exactly , its shocking how few people know this, countless times I've seen people go full pelt through fords and i can't help but think how stupid it is
Yeah exactly. It's called wading for a reason. All the people flooring it are just causing the water to have a hard impact onto the front of their cars
yup. The goal is to create a small wave in front of the car that you can ride behind, in its depression in the water.
My dad thought you have to go fast and as a result he stood in the road with his hands in his pockets and a frown on his face looking at his BMW 5 Series broken in the water. That car is in a wrecking yard now and it was a 17 reg. There was no visual damage it still looked new
I know but it's a Discovery, Its should have went faster than a Corsa C
When Matthew said "Is that a land cruiser?" That triggered me soo much XD
It's called a joke
@@IamJay02 that wasn’t a joke, I think it was a genuine mistake
@@IamJay02 not a joke, the dude doesn’t know cars that much.
He was saying Land Rover he didn’t say cruiser but it is Range Rover
could be worse "range cruiser"
Alternate title: Theo forgetting hydrolock exists for 11 minutes and 51 seconds
What is a hyrolock
pls dont hate me for asking this
@@zwabbah4841 water enters the engine and locks it by breaking it or make it explode on the underside and all the parts fall out
hydrolock
@@zwabbah4841 it's when water enters the engine and into the pistons then the engine locks
@@zwabbah4841 water gets into the cylinders and water doesn't compress like air, so it locks up and destroys the engine.
Theo, just an fyi, you're not meant to go fast in these flooded roads, I learnt from this very channel lol.
You have to go slow so you can create a bow wave, which basically means the water is being pushed away from your car and therefore the intake doesn't swallow the water.
When you go fast, you're literally forcing water into the intakes.
Big brain
Insert Jeremy Clarkson saying “I wish I bought that Hovervan”
Omg yesssss
@@tylerwilkinson1664 or just get an electric car.
I'm dead😂😂😂🤣🤣
*"Gotta mix it up !"*
Matthew : saying *HELLOOOA* like always
I love the intro......
GOODBYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYE
"Put your foot down."
That's how my sister hydrolocked her van. Notably the van is lacking most of it's front end but still. Flooring it is not advisable.
10:06 'It's now time for 2 horsepower'
Fun fact, 2 horses would actually be around 20 - 30 horsepower.
Good old green vehicle solution.
10:06 man those are some meaty mustangs with 2much horsepower
Fast or slower depends on the depth of the water. Less than 6"/15cm, fast should be fine. From 6"/15cm up to maximum fording depth, you want to go just fast enough that the wave created ahead of the vehicle stays ahead of the vehicle (too fast and it collapses back on the vehicle and too slow there is no wave.) Snorkels as seen on the Land Rover Defender in the video can increase fording depth.
8:24 "An overtake of someone that already died" 😂
My Ford Raptor would do this easily. This is hilarious to watch them fail.
Anything with a high air intake would. You could do it in a Lamborghini if it has a snorkel.
@Kingchoo's Rolling Studios yep
All of us know goddamn well that Clarkson would go through that at full speed yelling "SPEEEED AND POWWER!"
he always does that
Mr pants man the people in the SUVs are the ones driving through correctly
I bought a graphics card back in January, it was cancelled after 2 weeks as it was 'damaged in delivery', I'm convinced the delivery man drove through this road.
Rufford ford has one of highest killstreaks on cars
When driving through a flood you can’t go to slow or you flood but if you go to fast you flood you need to find a good speed and hold the car at certain revs
We'll love to see theo passing the flood with his lexus 😂
A few weeks ago, we had some major flooding in Victoria, Australia. The Gippsland town of Traralgon (population 28,000), 160 km east of Melbourne, was hit the hardest. The local football ground was underwater, and more than 300 homes & businesses were inundated when the creek that bisects the town broke its' banks after heavy rains upstream.
A few small towns just north-east of Melbourne, also suffered major flood damage due to heavy rain in the area.
Every time such an event occurs, the emergency services tell us; NEVER drive, walk, ride or swim through floodwaters. But no, some people just won't learn... :/
We need more of that “EEEEEELLLLLLLLOOOOOO!”
as someone who had the interior of my first car flooded because my high school wouldn't let us move our cars until after the water got to them, I'd make a u turn in the Mustang, detailing was kind of fun, but it was only fun because that's the only thing I got to do to that V6 Charger before the engine blew up
I like how Matthew gets the car wrong every time
I never knew I wasn't the only one who loves the Rufford Ford series LoL
Loved this one Panthaa! Keep it up!!
My day always get better when i watch these videos. Thanks Theo!!!
YES I have been watching these since lockdown aswell, I so recommend this channel
1:30 pantz: I have bought it to be used
Reminded me of the" I have bought the entire speedometer I will use the entire speedometer meme"
Reminds me of the underpass on the A127 that seems to flood anytime it rains and you get floating cars and lorries.
All fun and games going through these things with speed and power till its a giant pothole covered in water 😂
3:56 oh hey me when the wind dies on the boat, just floating away
Man i love to watch them reactin to this videos
This road is in Nottingham. Can access it from Rufford country park. Used to come here as a kid but unfortunately never got to see a breakdown🤣
ELLLLO!! is the only thing that gets me up in the morning haha 🤣
Cheers from watching never gets old
I’ve actually been through this it’s really fun we’ll worth it😂
I love da Matthew accent its soo funny and inspiring for people who want to have more nice conversations cuz his voice is just so nice
I love this as I live down the road from rufford 😊
Theo kills me lmaoo love this Chanel
There gets a point where the road is basically the river.
I would prob just full send it with my -97 volvo v40 since its built like one of those kids' water board. It would simply just glide over the water majestically.
People living there have entertainment for days :D
Love the way Theo said " we have seen a lot of horsepower, but it's now time for 2 horsepower"
And remember:
Electrical cars and flood roads aren't the best idea untill is completely waterproof
Edit:
Thanks for explain me Electric are waterproof.
At least in Teslas the Drivetrain is completely sealed, so they won't break in water
My little Zoe has never had any issues going though water as every thing is covered and waterproof
I'm floorin it!
Elo never gets old
You are HUGE my man!! Buffpants.
I am loving these videos theo do more☺
You can even _see_ the engines locking up in most scenes.
OH MY GOD HE FOUND THE CHANNEL AAAHHHHH.
but on a serious note, I learnt how to correctly go through a flooded street from this channel!
"land rover defender is a proper British vehicle" My Man Knows lmao (not the new ones ha)
if water gets through the air filter and gets in the turbo and eventually in the engine that angine is done.that is why you shouldn't drive through water puddles unless you have a snorkel attached to the air intake going all the way above the a pillar
Ed
Lmao love your reaction to these
I live very close to the Rufford ford from the start of the video. Been through it a lot in my fiesta. Funny to watch others fail haha!!!
Ah yes I love these vids
Agree with Theo with the puddles, just smash them at whatever speed your doing and seeing how high & far the water goes from the puddles 🤣🤣
But proper floods like in the video, i'd definitely be creeping in and build up speed slowly throughout it..
But definitely NEVER Bomb into floods like in the video, as you could end up Hydro-Locking your engine, bending the rods and breaking components etc etc..
Not a flood, it’s a Fjord
Can't wait for part 3 of nfs undercover 2021 let's play😀
Going through "The ford" was so fun when I was younger 🤣
ONCE A WISE MAN SAID 'SPEED AND POWER IS GOOD FOR BUISSNESS!!' MAKES SENSE
I have a montero sport, it's an suv, so it would probably make it through.
I went threw a smaller flood but it was in my 1st car... About 3 feet through an intersection was the deepest.. I had a 95 civic ex coupe ... I found going slow and letting the front float while my car essentially doggy paddled in 3rd gear at barley any throttle
I used to live not too far away from the ford in this video and it was always fun to watch.
Im a Clarkson believer myself but smooth is the way to go. You would just splash and collect lots of water in front of the car when going fast.
ELLOOOOOOO IS BACK
All legendary 1000hp full beans 😂
Full speed and power!
2:22 notice the ducks chillin in the background 😂
Yes I comented this on previous vids but u hair still do be lookin 🌶 🔥
I’d wanna take it flat but I doubt my a3 would thank me for it 😂
Full send 💁🏻🏁
Chavs are pretty confident goin through water with their corsas 😅
Full GAS!
I remember my dad doing this, the water rose above the hood but the car was 100% fine lmao
Going slow is truly the best way to do it because the water splashes up onto the engine when you go fast.
After watching this I’ve realised Matthew really doesn’t know his normal cars 😂 called a Defender a land cruiser.. called a Renault Trafic a Transit.. and a couple other mistakes throughout the video 😂😂
Matthew should release an album with how many times he's sang in these vids
I 1 once driven in a like 20M long puddle and like 30 CM deep with 1st gear, but with high rev so the water dosen't come to the exaust. My car is MK5 Golf, but it didint die, but I heard a weird noise, but it kept alive
Towing companies would make a fortune just waiting nearby lol
i blast through the deep water LOLOL
I always proceed with caution to not forge water lmao
So guys, next vid we see is Theo driving his Lexus through this road. Can’t wait
Theo: SPEED RUN
Lexus lc500: *nervous sweating*
10:07 Now that's a proper dad joke.
In my scubie? SPEED AND POWER!
In any other car? Calmly driving
Look at all the locals surrounding it ahaha🤣
I live locally to this ford and I watch these cars a lot, it’s great 😂
the NO. oF BMWs is JUST MAAAASSSSIVEEEE !! XDXDXD
I been watching this channel for months
3:30 Matthew has start his jingle on lol !
Full power
The little flooded part I have been there before
Would u blitz it through?
Me in my C2: WOOOOOOOOO
Sending it through deep water is actually kind of a bad idea! From what I've seen, the best way through is to make a small wave in front of the car at a low speed and ride the front grille in the low part of the water behind the wave.
smooth
This place is special, for car parts, car mechanics and towing services, big money!
Full send, the spectator seem to enjoy a full send
Puddle? More like a frickin lake
last time i was this early... well nothing happened cz ive never been this early
"We've probably got a lot of people from the states like why do you drive through this" -> Meanwhile in the US we've got people literally driving almost entirely underwater every time there's a tropical storm
Hey a couple months ago we had one hell of a flood here in Tennessee im talking fields turned into lakes, little bridges flooded to the point you’d have to go 5 MPH, and its not better in the aftermath, cuz all that water can form potholes which can be a bit deep
