That really looks great! It matches the truck very well! Are you gonna clear the rest of the truck as well? I think once you do that, it will really match all together! Keep up the great work Austin!
It looks freakin awesome. I wasnt sure about it at first, but the paint really made it come to life. Awesome job man. Build for you not the knuckle draggers
That front bar look great looks very Japanese drift style. FYI White vinegar will take zinc plating off from nuts and bolt so you can weld them without getting porosity ..
She looks amazing man. You are so inspiring to watch. I have an old 84 Ford ranger that I’m waiting on my son to get a little older to build with him and watching your videos man make me super excited to take on that task with him.
I must say Austin it looks a hell of a lot better painted than it did bare . That patina loos schaweet . Even the bug 🪳 liked it 🤣 All that matters is how you like it 👍
Love that bumper and that patina look. Matte Clear Coat would have been my choice. It would have matched the trucks current look. But once it's all one sheen it'll look great.
Been wondering where you were man! Clearly hard at work. Gatta admit, absolutely hated the shape of the bumper at first but after the paint it’s growing on me. Nice job bro 👍🏼
Bitchin’! This truck is going to be awesome. There are a whole lot of people that are diggin’ your content and your builds just look at your subscriber numbers. Great job! Also, good to see you putting out great content in tough weather conditions👍🏻🥶
I just got 2 delta pro's with all the stuff to run 240v and power the house with an outlet to backfeed the house so I can run my well pump. I sure wish they sponsored me🤣 that mess gets expensive
I don't know that I like the patina job on the bumper. I will wait and see what else you do to match it up. That is a lot of time on that bumper for not that interesting of a result. I still am holding out hope for a good result.
Your work is top shelf. However, I’m not a fan of the patina look. I would have preferred to see you work your magic on the truck to the typical resto- mod. It would have been stunning. Watching metal repairs, body work, and final paint would have been my preference.
It looks fantastic. I am curious if you have thought about installing air ducts in the openings that are cut out ? I like the addition of the adjusters you installed. The whole setup is great. I am curious and interested in seeing what you have in store for it next ? To many ideas ? You are have my curiosity.... Great job so far... 👏 👍 👌 All that snow... more time to have fun with the snow plow. You and your family have a very Merry Christmas 🎅
HI AUSTIN YOUR TRUCK IS BADASS ! However with a front bumper like that BEWARE !!!! Working around race cars for years anyone new or young BEWARE OF BAD INJURIES with the UNINITIATED !!!!!! Cheers BRIAN
I feel like the bumper would look a lot better if you introduced dirt into the paint before you ground the rust spots into it. It looks too clean where it's not rusted.
I'm one of those haters. The bumper is absolutely hideous! Completely ruins what I thought was an awesome truck. BUT..... a) Who cares what I think, it's yours, and b) I do absolutely respect your skills, and particularly enjoyed the final look on the paint, the patina look is top notch!
I haven't seen you mess anything up yet, so I'm sure it will look as good as your other projects! Years ago when I built my welding table, I went a little crazy size wise it's a 4x8 top and I used muriatic acid to get the scale off it. I sprayed it on and then covered it with rags and re soaked the rags and let it sit. After a while I literally just wiped it off with the rags that were laying on it with almost zero effort. Then I rolled it out in the sun and when it got hot, I threw a can of wax on it and polished it in. I do that once a year to keep it clean. Again, whatever you come up with will look awesome, I'm confident! I'd still like to see you puss out that super duty! lol
Austin, I’m loving the build.. as a Hilux owner myself, it’s great to see these older trucks being cherished.
That really looks great! It matches the truck very well! Are you gonna clear the rest of the truck as well? I think once you do that, it will really match all together! Keep up the great work Austin!
lmao it looks like a snowplow should've went original
The man drops right when we needed it , great timming !!!
I think you shouldve let the weinkled paint be. It looked nice and added authenticity to the patina!! Either way cool build man👍
Disliked it when you built it. But I like it now! Paint makes it!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
Bumper looks amazing! Can't wait to see what you do next! Whole truck looks badass
It looks freakin awesome. I wasnt sure about it at first, but the paint really made it come to life. Awesome job man. Build for you not the knuckle draggers
Adding comment to help the algorithm lol awesome bumper! You were able to make that patina look with the liberal tears 😂💀
That front bar look great looks very Japanese drift style. FYI White vinegar will take zinc plating off from nuts and bolt so you can weld them without getting porosity ..
Wow, that came out amazing!
I like it ,it fits in with the rest of thruck ! looking forward to more vieos.
Nice effect. Looks really good 🙌
Thinking the FJ needs a Lexus 1uz engine swap! Doing one now in my 91 pickup. It would freaking rip

Even the bug 🪳 liked it 🤣

Looks alright, interested to see what else you do to make it not clash so much with the car. Maybe a hood scoop?
Hi Austín , could you share down here what is needed to create the rusty visual? Vinegar and what more? Thanks for the help
I hope you have plans for the future to turn this truck into a complete make over how some Australians clean up their classics
dude alone i was like wtf but once its on man looks so sick! keep it up man!
Love that bumper and that patina look. Matte Clear Coat would have been my choice. It would have matched the trucks current look. But once it's all one sheen it'll look great.
Do the 6 foot tall exhaust pipe out the back!! haha that would trigger the haters...
looks amazing very very good job
What concentration of vinegar did you use? Normal stuff won't do much, but the 30% vinegar is fairly serious
Those damn conifer seed bugs
I love everthing except the lights on them, they look like they belong on a trailer!
I'm not a big fan of the rust look but I love the bumper. The truck looks awesome.
Love the patina!
I love it. The truck is rusty so why not the bumper. I really like his series. Thanks for the content. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Damn that bumper is looming sick!
Been wondering where you were man! Clearly hard at work. Gatta admit, absolutely hated the shape of the bumper at first but after the paint it’s growing on me. Nice job bro 👍🏼
Looking good! I like the old patina look. Especially with the faded white
Wow, how could you do that. Looks great!
It was looking great
it looks great , would love too see you upgrae the turn signals, custom leds maybe
You lost me with that Lame front bumper Lip, ☹️ but Merry Christmas anyways. I Heard about Snow my woman, and Kid are visiting in Shelton this Week.🤘
Looks great
Beautiful
When ya parting ways with the tacoma :P
Enjoying the build! Really like the bumper. Wish I had your skills.
I used that same clear on the top of a camper shell and it cracked the base paint. Luckily it was just a Craigslist shell.
Looks good
I love it!! Great job!
Love it, bumper looks amazing.
Haters gunna hate. Looks great!
Looks immaculate 👌
This truck looks amazing bro, everything you do comes out so good.
Superb job.

im with you turned out awersome man, love it!
looks great!!!
that bumper is totally BADASS , it really sets off that truck 🖖
Looks amazing! Great job
should clear coat the rest of the truck. the bumper looks shiny, and doesnt really match the rests of the truck. bumper did turn out pretty good tho.
I had the exact same thing happen with that clear. Even when I went extremely light.
I don't know that I like the patina job on the bumper. I will wait and see what else you do to match it up. That is a lot of time on that bumper for not that interesting of a result. I still am holding out hope for a good result.
The bumper looks kind of weird but I think you’re gonna do the best like all the time.
Hey,did I hear you say something about a diffuser on her backside?
Are we going to see a legit dyno run for this mean machine?
Love it.
Looks good enough. I'm not a fan of patinas anyway. The patina looks heavier than the one on the truck so it throws me a bit off
Your work is top shelf. However, I’m not a fan of the patina look. I would have preferred to see you work your magic on the truck to the typical resto- mod. It would have been stunning. Watching metal repairs, body work, and final paint would have been my preference.
اجمل قناه وانا احب هذا عمل رائع وجميل ❤❤❤

Great job so far... 👏 👍 👌
All that snow... more time to have fun with the snow plow.

Awesome 👏 ❤
I think the bottom diffuser should be cf the top part of bumper the patina look
Keep up the amazing ideas man. But holy cow your getting hit hard with these scammers.
Thanks! Yes these scammers are relentless lol
I dig it
that looks sharp man!
Nice job🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

HI AUSTIN YOUR TRUCK IS BADASS ! However with a front bumper like that BEWARE !!!! Working around race cars for years anyone new or young BEWARE OF BAD INJURIES with the UNINITIATED !!!!!! Cheers BRIAN
How come you didn't use 2K clear?
Now you can name the truck Daisy.
So u just shoot the clear coat over the rusted metal parts all together 😮
Splitter part black
At first I didn’t like that bumper, but it doesn’t look bad now
Approved
I feel like the bumper would look a lot better if you introduced dirt into the paint before you ground the rust spots into it. It looks too clean where it's not rusted.
i like the oem bumper better
Only one spoiler is missing in the back.
💪
Still not sure, maybe it will grow on me. Not that it matters if I like it or not 😂
not a fan of the bumper but great work!
👍🏽🇺🇸👍🏽 it looks great..
Cool hilux
Мені дуже подобається. В тебе є смак. Роби так, як тобі подобається!
I think didn't look to bad after you scraped it
Where's Big red...?
11.47 well that sucks
Gotta let the base paint off gas for like a month
Where is the Toyota flatbed ?
Where is the flat bed Toyota

Some wire mess behind those air intakes...
