@@linusolsson5173please respectfully, as someone on the spectrum who uses complex or odd terms and as an artist and who knows many many many kinds of people on different levels of it I have to say please don't excuse his behavior. There is no excuse for him acting that way just cause he may be on the spectrum, if he was 12 maybe but the man is a full grown adult and supposed professional he needs to act like it and talk to people with respect which wasn't done. On the spectrum or not he was one of the nastiest people on here that didn't get to yelling(which I'll say I definitely don't agree with either, those people make the industry look far worse) and he vaguely implied that once he tattooed that womans skin it was his property... That's not spectrum that's ego and that's not how tattoos or being a tattoo artist works.

@@linusolsson5173 I can understand that but it's not necessary about how he acts in general, it's how he treats people, I'm "weird" too and speak "weird", especially IRL and not in text cause my speech is far better if not much more complex than my text. I'm hoping you're getting general behavior mixed up with professional behavior. His general behavior is "weird" and off putting but whatever that's his personality. I'm talking about his professional behavior which is alarming, not because of how he said things but how he viewed another human... Not a professional but I did stick n pokes in highschool(I know dangerous) now imagine me finding all those kids and telling them "how dare you get tattooed without my permission"(I was in highschool 14 years ago too) that would be insane and that would be my ego not me falling on the spectrum. @@israelrocha2878 - to be fair the canvas WOULD be told ahead of time what the challenge is so they'd have an understanding of what type on tattoo, style etc. they'd be sitting for....so going in there and trying to get the artist to do something completely different from the challenge is just dumb...if you don't want that type of tattoo or style then why'd you sign up in the first place?? at the end of the day it IS a competition so you gotta understand that fact...if you want a specific type of tattoo that doesn't fit with that challenge then you're gonna have to get it on your own time with your own tattoo artist that you WILL have to pay for....
I dated Mike for 3 months... the guy is a narcissistic, delusional and entitled motherfucker. When I say 3 months, I mean he spent the following 2 years hitting me up, coming to my work and to my place, demanding we were still together and fighting my next boyfriend. He had an obsession with "branding" me with his tattoo designs. Thankfully I never let him.
I can't believe Julia still have a career after her time in this show. She's awful to the canvasses, I know it's free tattoos but she's the one being aggressive to them eventhough they haven't said anything yet. She's so unprofessional.

Peacock was my favorite. She rationally explained her frustrations and issues and he understood and wanted to fix his mistakes and he did and he killed it and she loved it ! XoxoX a great outcome from a not so great situation!

I agree. He turned around completely when he saw what she was saying and immediately wanted to fix it. He then asked what she would want and made it happen. The tattoo was beautiful! The only thing I would have liked to see was some more highlighting but that may come out more with the healing process and it would be hard with the cover up to bring in lighter colors.

Sebastian is such a great guy. The way he handled himself and the respect he showed her was awesome. He wasn't like other artists that deny that they messed up and act arrogant to their canvases.
He was a bit too flippant at the start. Like why tell her she should be nervous?

@@OhElvira I actually appreciated him saying “you should be nervous.” I imagine the cut there in their conversation was made to add to the tension of the episode. I expect his comment was the beginning of an acknowledgement of humility, like “you should be nervous! You have every right to be nervous, I’ve messed up before on you. I don’t want to make you nervous, I want to earn your trust and show you you don’t have to worry”

Nothing like working in concert... I can't stand people hovering over me when I work, and I don't put things on people that are permanent. I can't imagine what was going through his head while she was hanging over him the entire damn time.
Can we take a moment to appreciate Ron sticking up for Sausage? A+ human canvas right there, he really did his best with the challenge he had.

As a person who tattoos themselves and is beginning to tattoo others really well, I would really appreciate hearing that kind of feedback from a canvas. Fuck ink masters...If they took a single look at tattoos I’ve done or even my flash sheet stuff, they’d for sure say it’s terrible but they’re asses need to understand tattooing ain’t no easy fuckin job even for someone experienced. That’s why this show pisses me off but props to the canvas sticking up for that sausage dude! I even liked that snake tattoo he did!
Frank's clients seemed so sweet talking to Dave at first and then just did a full 180 when they came in to talk to him and he was so calm the entire time. I was shocked.
Darlene was a menace and she wasn't even getting tattooed!
I was impressed with how well he took that confrontation. It says a lot about him to take that and still be calm about it. Hats off to Frank.

Mike does not have ANY say in what that woman does after he finishes her tattoo. It is not disrespectful to have someone fix his mistake, it is disrespectful to think he owns the skin he tattooed.
Ive actually had encounters with tattoo artists who get pissed if someone goes to other artists to finish a piece one artist started or wants another to fix / finish. It is more common than it appears. CHOOSE YOUR ARTISTS WISELY
@@spooxbeatz805 one of my friends had gotten the majority of their tats from one artist (first tat was done by a different artist) and when they came in with new tats that he didn't do he got offended. You can definitely tell the different tats we're done by another artist

Idk why but I just love sausage as a person and as an artist. I’m so happy he didn’t go home against Mary Jean. He’s one of those people who just is always positive and always respects the canvases and the other artists. Also he should’ve won in season 4 (I think season 4)!

I love him for the fact that he genuinely puts his emotions into his work, and from his past of being bullied he will stand up for what he believes. Some of the guys on the show are fucking sociopaths that just play hardball and hate everyone, meanwhile Sausage is just a real dude.
@@trenchcoatbandit I mean it had a couple small issues, but I couldn't see them at first glance (I'm not an expert lol). I also really liked that the guy he did the dragon on defended the tattoo and Sausage's work. Sometimes it seems that these canvases get mad/disappointed over minute flaws that only tattoo artists notice right away, or that you only see after looking for the flaws. I'm glad the guy liked what he got and spoke up about it.

The producers probably amp them up before they go in for a dramatic reaction on camera, also some folks likely pretend or play it up too

If I was a canvas, I would let the artist tattoo whatever they wanted. So they are comfortable, and give me a good tattoo.

Sebastian remained so humble and just wanted her to be happy. THAT'S the right attitude. He gave her an AMAZING cover-up over her cover-up. Hopefully nothing ever peeks through as it ages but if it does, I think only some touch ups could be needed

I like Mike’s birds better but I do like Jime’s composition. If the birds on Jime’s were more realistic like Mike’s, I personally would’ve loved it. I think the girl honestly chose Jime’s just because she doesn’t like Mike, like if Mike said his own was actually Jime’s, she would’ve chosen it. Nothing against her at all, I just hope she didn’t choose a tattoo she didn’t like as much because of who designed it.

By intentionally being verbose, perhaps he is making an effort to conceal the lack of valuable content in his speech, while still attempting to sound like his level of intelligence is far superior to that of its actual level. It appears that he feels that excessive use of complex vernacular is representative of the skill level he truly believes he has.

Wow Kyle was absolutely horrible. The comment the canvas made about splitting the 100k was obviously a joke, I would've just laughed at that and moved on. Kyle's horrible temper is offputting and it's gross that he can't take any accountability, he only blames his canvas for his mistakes
the canvas was also very rude to him and was cheap asking for a free touch up after he messed up the healing process by wrestling as an amatuer wrestler

True, definitely could have been handled more constructively, but he definitely opened with what I’ve always thought with these human canvases.. they’re cheap, and want to demand everything but not pay for the right to demand.
If kyles tattoo hadn’t washed out, he could maybe get away with the attitude but I’d be disappointed with any artist who put that detail in so lightly.
It looked like a samurai skull to me, nothing about it looked like a luchador mask at all.

Not fitting the challenge has nothing to do with poor execution. If he isn't talented enough to properly tattoo details that don't fade he wasn't gonna win anyway. And he definitely wasn't gonna win if he wasn't creative enough to come up with an idea and compromise with the canvass. I doubt every customer sits down and just gets what's on the wall.
Confident versus cocky usually means the person is not that good. the work should speak for itself and shouldn't come out of your own mouth. This first guy most likely came up with his own nickname lol

And the funniest thing was it was the best tat she did. her entire time there LMAO. But the judges had witnessed what a bitch she was to the guy she was supposed to tat and they call her out for that shit. She was making herself a victims when she wasn't at all. She quickly lost her fake nasally voice when she got defensive. I HATE nasally voice especially fake ones like hers. She slips out of character when confronted.

How a tattoo heals depends on application and the client. But if a tattoo was done w a liner the entire time on a tattoo competition I honestly blame the show for choosing someone that is clearly a novice.
The equipment should be part of the elimination process. If I show up to Hendrick Engine Builder Showdown to build an engine with an adjustable wrench and a hammer, they'd send my happy ass packing.
Not having the proper equipment to do the job should be grounds for immediate disqualification. Especially when it's not something you can erase and start over.

It's almost glaringly obvious that the producers direct the canvases on how to start the interaction with the artists because some of them seem super chill when they come in and talk to Dave, but there's a big flip when they approach the artist.
Well there not mad at Dave and he does usually say something like go give him a piece of your mind! And then comes in later like woah guys chill out let’s talk

Yeah, I actually really liked that tattoo. The cat part looked like sphinx cat. y’know, the hairless kind. I thought it was a super clever take on what a sphinx is, both in real life and mythology.
