HOW TO DRAW TATTOOS Tutorial (part 1) New School Raspberry

This is more of a relaxed drawing tutorial video meant to give you inspiration, guidance and motivation to start getting your tattoo portfolio together or to branch out and try a different style.
This is a very simple start to designing New School tattoos and I encourage you to play with the colour pallet or add different elements in your piece weather it’s a background or different elements so make that piece POP!!!
I encourage every to challenge themselves when it comes to designing, you never know what style will come so naturally to you so it’s worth testing them all out.
Hopefully this will be one of many “draw with me” style of videos!
Supplies:
Prisma colour…
- Colour erase pencils
- Pencil crayons
- Premiere markers
Marshmallow Guimauve smooth cardstock ( this is by far the best paper that I’ve used these markers on)
For anyone that’s interested in starting a tattoo apprenticeship, you’ll really want to make sure you put your best efforts forward by making sure you execute flawless pieces. New school designs like this and in many different styles are ones that future tattoo mentors will be looking for. Make sure to have a variety of subject matter and sizes. The mentors want to see completed pieces of work that can express your understanding of art theory and versatility!

I do my art like this but I do colored pencil first and marker over. I find that it blends pencils better.
