Hi Al. I take your point about the one touch switch for hood deployment/closure, however I believe this was a conscious design decision as a safety consideration to allow the pausing of the actuation in the event of of an accidental button press. (i.e. you may have an unforeseen obstruction at the rear or above the car).
Really good to watch a concise, no nonsense, straight to the point appraisal. Didn’t think about the rear window and buffeting/blowing across a bottle top noise a little bit of a shame. Weight too, but a fabulous looking 911. Thanks
@@mariocirigliano1091 Did you have a 4 or 4S or 4 GTS? I have a Targa on my list but the windnoise/buffeting concerns me….also potential rattling from the roof mechanism.
@@Franzino I had the 4 GTS, I have to say I enjoyed every minute of it, top down and up. Never had an issue as wind noise or any type of rattling. Here in Long Island/Queens NY the roads are not the best of the best and yet no issues.
Thanks - I think you've successfully put me off one for the UK - I mean that in a positive (educational) way. In a California climate - I think my view would be different, but we are a wet/wetter county and having obscured visibility, operational longevity considerations together with a weight penalty do not, for me, offset the beauty of the car. Thanks.
Hi Al, Great video and very useful, I am looking at a lovely Targa 4, although some say they are underpowered and a Targa 4S is preferred, what's your thoughts on this please?
Good to know. Thanks - just waiting on porsche to confirm delivery of 2023 Targa 911 4 GTS for March/April. Love the car
Always good watching a Satch vid

18) Beautiful!
I'm sure I have seen this video before
Just got mine 2 weeks ago. Loving it…
How is the windnoise, buffeting with the roof open?
@@Franzino it wasn’t bad at all. I upgraded to a 2024 911 Turbo S a few weeks ago. I really enjoyed my time with the Targa. Amazing vehicle.

@@mariocirigliano1091 Thanks for the reply 👌
Great vid Al. Much better on the silver wheels 😉👍
Definitely. The black wheels don't work on this at all.
An incredibly beautiful machine 😍 Great Video!
Thanks for such an honest review.
Thanks for uploading
Awesome car 🤩
It's verging on criminal how much the prices have changed in a year.
you can get an optional windscreen wiper for the back from what ive heard..which is a good idea. This car looks too snug even though I love it.
Great info. Thank you!

The hold is better when it comes to safety - being able to stop the operation immediately. That's why they don't have a one touch.
how to disconnect the phones that have been connected before via bluetooth? 991.2 2016
👍
You said 3 models, Targa 4, Targa 4S and Targa GTS, but yours was a Targa 4 GTS.
Good call!
One touch. Absolutely not. I almost broke my glass roof if it wasn't for the non-one touch.
👏👏👏👏👏
disconnect=delete

I want to like the Targa…but I can’t
It's ok, we know you are gay
