I’m still missing seeing you unwrapping that honey bun. I just finished one. LOL. See, you still have one hanging around. Put a small food plot up on that hill to keep them hanging out longer. Oh well, as always, enjoyed the video. Stay safe.
Normally Jake you are spot on with your comments. But not this time. If you pay attention you will realize that I did not want ANY deer on that cold miserable day. I stated that if I was blessed I would get a good buck, but if I was REALLY blessed I would NOT get one on that day. Rather than jumping on that buck right off I had to talk myself into even trying to get him. That is why I looked at him so long through the spotting scope. I had to talk myself into even trying . That buck was not looking at me. He was merely looking in the only direction he could look and see over 25 yards. I could dance a jig in the Quigley and he would never know I was on the earth. He could not see, hear or smell me. And , yes, I need to be as ready as POSSIBLE. But with 4 sides to the Quigley, and four directions that a buck could appear, and me not being physic enough to know ahead of time just which side the deer might appear on, and which of the 8 windows and door I might need to take the shot from, I only have a one in eight chance of having the bench in the needed position. So most of the time I have to move the bench and open windows and do a whole host of things. Reality often does not clearly come through on video. Reality and perception are often two different things. I can certainly see how you could come to the conclusions that you did. Thanks for the thoughtful comments.
Families are every thing. I get my granddaughter so her parents can work. Three afternoons, 2 days. Sometimes 5 ,12 hr days. And i make every minute as best i can. God family country guns.😊 you know ❤
Always amazed me that there would be nothing there and then all of a sudden there was something there. Deer just seem to appear from nowhere. I walked out on my covered back porch just at daylight this morning. It was thundering and raining pretty heavy. There was a doe standing not twenty yards from me looking right at me. She stood there for probably twenty minutes then finally just eased off.
@@UncleSasquatchOutdoors Howdy Uncle. It truly is amazing how deer can suddenly appear and disappear in a wide open field. Just starting my late muzzleloader season.
