Michael Munzert You’re welcome Michael matey! ;) :) My name’s Michael too! XD But I told you all of that already didn’t I?! XD Incase ya wondering where in England I come from, it’s Sunderland! XD A small city that’s all the way South from Newcastle! XD
Amazing work!! I play Baritone and Trombone. You have helped me get a better sound. I love watching your Thinking Out Loud video. Thanks for the amazing content
Hey to anybody that may have any tips I could use some advice. I play trombone and I understand the rhythms I'm coming across very well but to me my tone and style comes across as very robotic and metered. I was wondering if anybody has a suggestion on how to have a smoother and more lyrical for lack of a better word.
Hey Zach! If you are lacking smoothness and lyrical playing in your own opinion this is a very good setup for improving, cause most people don´t improve cause they are not able to notice they are lacking this :) My first suggestion would be to frequently record yourself and follow your own imagination....and you WILL improve!
Zach McCune me being a national winner for a trombone solo, just take time to practice and u shall become better, everything takes time....it might be that ur lips are to tight
Hallo Michael! Erstmal super Arbeit!
+Nico Finkernagel Ein Lindberg-Tarrodi 2CL.
O.K., here you go: Sightreading is practiced best with pieces you don´t know by ear. Find yourself some pieces that you never heard, practice them with a metronome and try to hear/feel if your playing was correct. If you don`t know how a piece sounds and you don´t have perfect pitch, you have to find the right note by the feeling of your lip. After some attempts you can use a tuning app on your phone (e.g. "ClearTune") to control if you are playing the right notes. At first, choose pieces not too difficult. OR: Enter pieces you know at unusual points, practice them backwards etc. Try to get the rhythm first, then the right notes. Play slow enough so you can react and read well. Hope this helps a bit! And here comes the easiest rule of them all: Do regularely what you want to be able to do. Play high notes for high range, practice sounding great by trying to sound great and learn sight reading by sight reading. Of course there are other tricks for all of this, but that´s the first you should do :) Comparison: You can have great advice of the best marathon-trainers in the world, but all tricks of them are useless if you don`t run :)
Everything you have posted is great.

Wow, this is superb!!
Echt Hammer Video.
Just to make sure for all the brass players out there: The song was NOT written by the trumpet/trombone-James Morrison 😁

Nice! Was ist das für ein Mundstück?

is that a trigger
+King Jesse26 Yes.
I'm in middle school band wanted 2 know...4 some reason I thought it was f attachment
+King Jesse26 F-attachment is a trigger. it allows the trombone to go form a Bb trombone to F. Very useful imo
