    I love this soooo much. In my class the trombones have no respect. All the other instruments pick on us and say we sound weird. That's why I love to watch this so much. It makes me happy that the thing that I love isn't terrible like I'm told it is. Keep up the great playing. 👍🏻❤️

      This is a great comment! If I can give confidence to people to keep on doing what they love, I‘m really very happy!! And: Trombone is one of the most versatile, stylish instruments which can be played - unlike many other instruments - in any genre.

    WOW. Loved it. I played the trombone for 7 years from grade 6-12. After that i never played again because the instrument was school provided. Never had one of my own. Recently i was gifted a pBone by my best friend but havent touched it since receiving it. Hearing this just now at 1am. Im gonna start playing again. I had forgotten how beautiful the trombone can really be, and how much i used to love playing it. Thank you for this amazing rendition.

      TwizzKid18 Thanks a lot!!! It think the trombone can even be - if well played - the instrument best resembling a male human voice - mostly because of the possibility to do glissando and thus be very flexible with the slide.

    @Grant smith
    Sorry Grant, for some reason it´s impossible to answer your question directly (the "answer"-button is missing at your post). My most important advice would be: DON´T practice until your lips bleed :) They surely did not actually bleed, but saying this tells me you probably played too much. For me, it helped very much to stop practicing when it still feels and sounds good. If you get tired, play something low or do a break. I also tried "super hard" training in the past, it just does not work :)

    Hey Alina! Dankeschön! Leider sind Deine Antworten deaktiviert, deshalb kann ich nicht direkt auf Deinen Beitrag antworten. Ich spiele jetzt 33 Jahre :) Allerdings spielt das nicht unbedingt eine Rolle, es sei denn, man versucht kontinuierlich, besser zu werden. Das tue ich zum Glück immer noch. Mach weiter! So gut spielen können zu wollen, ist die wichtigste Eigenschaft, die man braucht! Ich habe es schon mal in einem anderen, englischen Kommentar geschrieben: Den meisten ist es einfach egal, ob sie gut sind oder nicht, deswegen werden sie´s nie sein :) Viele Grüße!

      ***** Hi Alina! Klar, ich habe schon mit einigen Orchestern (auch sehr bekannten) gespielt und in Würzburg an der Hochschule studiert. Bolero in der 10.Klasse ist schon ziemlich anspruchsvoll, und nach 5 Jahren spielen sowieso. Kompliment! Noten von "All of me" habe ich leider nicht, ich habe es mit dem Begleit-Midi ohne Noten eingeübt bzw. die Nicht -Melodie-Stellen improvisiert. Und bezüglich des Drucks: Ansprüche an sich selbst zu haben, ist super! Falls Du allerdings merkst, dass Du trotz des Drucks nicht besser wirst oder verkrampfst (das passiert sicherlich einmal im ein oder anderen Moment): Einen Ganz zurückschalten. Mein Slogan zur eigenen Weiterentwicklung: "Entspannte Hartnäckigkeit" :) Viele Grüße!

      Es ist ein Lindberg/Tarrodi 2CL Mundstück. Da immer wieder jemand fragt, werde ich demnächst mal ein Review von diesem Mundstück machen :) Ein Mundstück ist natürlich etwas sehr individuells. Für mich passt es optimal...

    Excellent, better than the original. I plateaued in high school, played off an on, and finally gave it up in my early 50s. People that play this well work hard at it but also have a gift.

    I love watching trombone players do what they do best. All if my other band friends don't get why we move around as we play. Neither do I but it's just a thing we do. Haha. Especially in jazz when you just feel the music pulse through you and you put your whole body into every accent

    Awesome. Makes me cry within half a minute. Strangely enough, it reminds me of Adele - she has a very similar voice to this trombone. Thank you, Bonowombo and Michael Munzert, for putting this online here.

    I remember when I started trombone three years ago. I searched up music. After 1 year I left because my band teacher sucked and said 20-35$ per lesson. Note - every lesson was basically 5 minutes and he would still charge if he missed it. I quit and now two years, I’m finally starting again by my grandpa!
