Loved the scene where the accident occured, haven't seen animations depicting it before. And Jimmy's face as he realises that now he doesn't have to take responsibility is spine-chilling.
I AM ABSOLUTELY FERAL OVER THIS ANIMATIC AAAAA the transition in the 01:32 to 01:38 sequence where Jimmy is in the Captain uniform at the end and casually drops Curly while looking him straight in the eye pretty much summs up the game in a nutshell
Wait I'm so dumb it took me like a million rewatches to notice that at 1:18 it shows the crew interacting with Curly after the crash Anya carefully applying or changing his bandages, unsure of how to even treat such an injury and probably doubting herself or afraid of messing something up Swansea lecturing or judging Curly for the crash but still understanding, resting his hand on his limb Daisuke just showing him cat pictures/memes to cheer him up, bless his pure soul And J*mmy making him stare in the mirror and see what he has become, mocking him. Curly wouldn't even get to know how he looked like after he burned unless someone'd show him, and ofc it'd be Jimmy cuz to do so is pointless unless you get some sick sense of pleasure out of it its so good someone get this animatic out of my head pls
This whole animatic is really cool and dramatic and I love it, but also Daisuke sliding in like he's wearing heelys or something at 0:42 made me actually laugh out loud

I really like in the scene where it shows all four of them in the rows - the one where the mirror is in front of Curly's face is really interesting because it's Jimmy who is holding it and I think that relates to how Jimmy "hopes this hurts" and he's showing Curly what he looks like now so Curly will feel awful - super cool animatic!
super glad to see some really thoughtful fanart that acknowledges the tension between curly and jimmy without shipping them... love the imagery in this one, curly waking up in his bandages fully healed is so good
EXACTLY. I dont get why anyone would ship these two, Jimmy's a serial rapper (and a narcissist) and Curly is an ignorant enabler. I only see them as that, but with a very unhealthy semi-romantic tension.
me seeing “don’t tag as jimmy x curly” at the end like OH THANK GOD jokes aside this is GORGEOUS the movement and dynamic here is breathtaking! definitely my new favorite mouthwashing animatic im very excited for the full amv!
The transitions at the chorus part showing post crash curly and pre crash and then vice-versa during the dance with jinglejorts got me obsessed its soo good!! i also read from a prev comment that their hat switched and im even more obsessed
