The actual backside of the Royal Palace is facing Dam Square. Initially built as cityhall, Raadhuisstraat runs to the front of the building. And YES Tycho, CT actually once was the Ceintuurbaan cinema.
Hahaha Tycho... you really didn't know you could go to the rooftopbar? When serious then I guess you missed the rooftopbar in the double tree hotel overlooking the Nikolaaskerk and the oldest part of the historical centre. That view always made my love for my birthplace grow. Specially in the evening. Als een ouwe vent kan ik je vertellen dat het theater tot eind jaren 70 en bioscoop was. Die CT zit er denk max 10 jaar
Omg that Febo place, I was starving on my first day and saw one in a petrol station and decided against eating it. Then literally a day later within Amsterdam central, saw another one, took the leap and my god. I found myself throwing down one of those little burgers every time I was wandering from place to place. Must have had like 40 before I left haha.
I have to admit (and no disrespect as I have just suscribed to Janica’s channel too). The best part is when you have to sing over the music to avoid copyright.

Hi Tycho, I'm 72, but never learned how to ride a bike, so don't hate me. I did get run over by a bike in my youth in NY and once almost in Amsterdam. Just found your videos and love your humor. I'm staying in Haarlem this time but hope to visit all these places on day trips in a few months. Keep up the good work. You gave me some useful tips for my upcoming trips and of course, I love Back to the Future. Aloha from Hawaii.
in america if youre in public you have no right of privacy. your face can be filmed your entire body can be filmed and published as long as youre in a public place. not even the police can tell you to shut off your camera as long as youre at a reasonable distance as not to interfere with their job.

We've been to Coffee & Coconuts quite a few times for breakfast. It has a good menu and great food and the people were really nice. It can get quite busy so you might have to share a table with people you don't know, but don't let that put you off. Also, it's in De Pijp, which is a lovely area with loads going on and feels much less touristy than centrum
I suggested last yr you should do some what it’s like to shop tip offs included and that place isn’t the only one and the reason I only support Dutch shops though getting hard to find now you can do this tycho back on thur fir 5 weeks maybe I bump innto you again like kings day stay well 😊

Well her voice accent is remarkably a Dutch one, so perhaps Janica is pronounced as Yanica (NL letter J) , So maybe there's some truth to what she says, I don't know for sure, but I'll watch for sure to find out.. Can't be as ridiculous as that other womans "Amsterdam is the Worst City" video
I guess the Dutch and Finnish accents look a like! You might be right about her name. Maybe I'm saying it wrong this whole time (and I said her name quite a lot in the video haha)
@@dennisverhoef1564 especially the smaller channels will use copyrighted music. And then they’ll not be able to monetize their videos. But many times thats also not their ambition. If its a big channel they use things like Epidemic Sound or such (a platform with music)
