I thought I was the only person in the world who left there palettes in there original packaging! It’s very therapeutic to watch you declutter your palettes.

Juvia's Place palettes are highly pigmented because the founder (a WOC) wanted product that other POC could use & they would show up on our skin. Great eyeshadows!
I love how you keep everything that works for you when I see others declutter video I feel like I always see the inexpensive brands get decluttered first Like if I like the $10 foundation over the $60 on I will keep the one that I like😃

@@slashedbeauty i mean, there are some nice looking fall palettes like the Urban decay naked honey looked interesting, but that's more if you are into bronze/honey shades. I mean I looked through my collection and it's a pretty good collection. But i feel like holiday palettes will be coming in and look interesting. But as of this week, waiting until my paycheck on Friday clears so i can get my skincare wants at sephora.
I agree with you about alter ego. I contacted their customer service and they denied being part of bad habit. I want to see what happens with that for sure. I also love karity palettes. They are discontinuing the posh palette which if you do not have ... you should try! It’s amazing quality and is a full face palette with mostly warm colors.
I always feel like declutters of eyeshadow is done so different on youtube vs how I do it. I always devide my eyeshadowpalettes by warm, cold and neutral shades so if I have three palettes with similar shades I only keep one.
I’ve never seen the cover girl over throwned palette but the second you opened it I thought I would depot that and I never depot anything. That packaging is horrible
I have never and will never use Mac. Talk about projecting emotions onto things; I wanted to buy nice makeup and skincare when I turned 18 and got my first real job. The girls at the Mac counter were SO RUDE. I have never been to a Mac where they didn’t treat me like I was beneath them. So I get a very unpleasant feeling when I even look at their makeup, and it costs too much to own something that makes you unhappy. They’d have to come out with a setting spray that would take ten years off your face for me to purchase something.
WOW! I'm so sorry you had that experience, Candy. I've never actually been to a Mac store, only have their stuff from their section inside of department stores so not sure if that makes a difference but I've heard similar testimonials to yours. I don't blame you!

Alter ego has no relation to shop hush or bad habit. Alter ego came out as bad habit was shutting down. I’ve heard that they did hire most of bad habit employees as they shut down but they are completely separate.

Slashed Beauty to be honest I loved bad habit and bought everything they put out anyway when alter ego launched their first palette (Temptress) I bought it. I’ve was watching different reviews on it and one of the comments was from a guy Ed Chu (I think) anyway he said there was no affiliation between alter ego and bad habit so I asked him if he worked for Alter ego he never replied but After Ego did from their account and they said Ed Chu was with Bad Habit they later deleted their comment but not before I saw it so yeah I was in the right place at the right time.
Kat Von D has had a lot of controversy surrounding her over the past several years regarding things she has said, things her BRAND has done as far as marketing, and people she's been associated with that would paint her in a racist or antisemetic light. I'm not saying she is or she isn't, but I can't deny some of the things she's said or done being quite iffy.

Berenice Reyes yes there are different ways to disinfect them depending on if they were stored and used correctly in the first place! I try to only toss what is truly in bad shape, very well used. I can’t accept money for most of this because they are products I got for free in PR and I’m prohibited from selling them.

I just organized/decluttered my collection. As of now, not any palettes or other products excites me. Probably winter would be good.
