I am a girl and i am good with small engines, simply because i like to be able to do everything i can for nyself. I the hobda f110 w the gx25 engine. I cleaned my carb and replaced bulb, fuel lines and filter, along w new spark plug gapped at .024-.028 like instructed...BUT THIS THING WOULD NOT IDLE SMOOTH, AND THE WAY YOU EXPLAINED TO GET THE THROTTLE TO TOUCH THE IDLE SCREW WHILE STILL BEING SNLE TO THROTTLE IT WIDE OPEN EXPLAINED SO MUCH FOR ME!! THANK YOU BECAUSE U R LITERALLY THE ONLY ONE ON UA-cam THAT EXPLAINS THAT PART THOROUGHLY! I SUBSCRIBED!
I love when he starts an engine in the garage and then complains about the smoke. The tiller has a maintenance position on the frame face down! Thanks for the tips!
Hilom is usually decent or hipa but you should look over all carbs before. Oddly enough the OEM is only about $40 now so it actually went down in price
I am having the same issue with the exact same tiller. I put a honda oem carburetor in it today ands can get it running right. I only see one screw who would only allow me to adjust the idle
How is it running? Could need a valve adjustment, intake gasket could be on backwards, plugged fuel filter... Those would be some common issues that could be causing issues
@@PNWSmallEngineandLawn still not starting. I did however find oil on the spark plug and on the cylinder head. I know with this engine it should not have and oil in the chamber so I’m thinking a valve seal has gone bad. My question is should I trash it since I only paid $60.00 for it or do I try and dump more money into it?

Glad I helped.

Thanks...right on point and clear to understand.
If you flip it over and lay it on the frame you can start it on the table. That’s why the frame is made that way….
Also that tiller only uses 2.7 ounces of oil
In a later project I realized how much easier laying it on the frame would make it
I noticed you said "This isn't the best carb". Other that the OEM carb, are any of the knockoffs any better than the others?

Seems there is no audio with this video.
Ok so when u adjusted the idle was the idle screw unscrewed all the way when u started it?
No it was screwed in a little bit. The more you turn it in the faster it will go.
You do know the times are removable, right?
Yes
