I got the blues for my baby, she got the blues for, I say, me...
Blues for my baby, she got the blues for me,
But I can't see my baby, and she can't see me.
I'm gonna be condemned early tomorrow, I say, morn...
Gonna be condemned early tomorrow morn,
But I am not guilty 'cause I ain't done nobody wrong.
My crime, my crime, I really can't under-, I say, stand...
My crime, my crime, I really can't understand,
They got me 'scused of murder, and I never harmed a man.
Baby, please, come down before my trial, I say, day...
Will you, please, come down on my trial day,
So when I be condemned, you can wipe my tears away.
There's no need to cry, and no need to weep and mourn...
They ain't no need to cry, no need to weep and mourn,
Just try to get some body to go on my bond.
I think it's gonna be weeping, I begin to, I say, mourn...
It's gonna be weeping, I begin to mourn,
Said, I'm a poor boy, yeah, I sure ain't got no home.
The jury found me guilty, the judge say, Listen, I say here...
The jury found me guilty, the judge say, Listen here,
It ain't no fine for you, get ready for the electric chair.*

Yes, I use a nice record player Califone, and record is of very good quality too. And of course Ed Bell is a brilliant singer and guitarist of Alabama!
Thanks for the kind words and for listening!
