- LA-based rock outfit Grouplove performed one of their deeper cuts, "Gold Coast," when they came by Capitol Records for the Fender Studio Sessions.
Singer/guitarist Christian Zucconi considers the tune to be one of their moodier, slower songs and not as "happy and bouncy as some other ones."
"It's a song I wrote when I was in New York going through a crazy breakup a year or two before I met Hannah (Hooper) and it's just about trying to find your way and progressing through tumultuous times," he said.

I used to listen to this song nearly every day back in the summer of 2011. Somber but yet good times. The song still hits home as if I just heard it for the firs time
