I stayed there for 1 night (I wasn't supposed to, I'd booked somewhere else). Couldn't wait to get out. Building far too big for me, but as he says there is nothing outside the building. Want to pop out and get something to eat, you've got a longish hike, no shops nearby. On a high floor, wait for a lift, look for a shop, walk back, wait for the lift to go back to your floor. No, not for me.
Bike parking was an eye opener ..yep way to tight for bigger touring type bikes. My FJR1300 with full factory panniers and top box would have a problem
That 1st condo view was awesome, what amazes me is that you never see any people around the places, pools empty/gym empty/gardens empty/car,bike parking/empty,. where is everyone ? your sales girl is nice, non pushy and leaves you to browse unhindered,.but to me condo living is a bit like being in prison ,i,m used to living in detatched house, but i do like the no self maintenance side of codos, no leaking roofs or plumbing/electrical issues to worry about,. good luck house,or should i say*condo* hunting,R4K,.cheers.
I stayed there 2 years ago. Nice place, but when there are tourists you will wait up to 15 mins just to get on the elevator. The views are great though!
Same thing in the Philippines, all folks going to work AM/PM returning. I had to time my activities to use elevator. Most of time use stairs. Keeps my fat butt in shape. Mabuhay
i loved the views. I lived in a high rise before and enjoyed a great view from my living room and bedroom, but it was not NEARLY that large of a complex and sometimes the wait for the elevator or the laundry was nuts. I was all about the place till you said how many units were in there! WOW! lol. have fun looking!
You should give a try to Pratamnak area it's a very quiet and nice area only few minutes from Pattaya center i stayed 1 year in Laguna bay 1, a very nice 7 floors condo well maintened, but there are a lot of others offers in the area
Couldn't agree more. I stayed in Laguna too. Much better building and the area is fantastic. Some great bars, cocktail corner, som, road, not frequented by tourists, so fairly quite. Tons of eating places. On my next trip agent put me in that unixxx building. I'd say it was more. South pattaya than phratamnak.Awful. 1 night wasted. No bars or shops within walking distance. Laguna rooms much better and pools hardly used
Great video, I had been waiting for this one, as you know I own a condo in this complex on the 7th floor over looking the lap pool on the 6th floor, I have a terrible fear of heights so mine over looking the pool on the 6th floor works out perfectly for me, thank you for the views from the top, something I wouldn't be able to see in person. if you do happen to rent one will be neighbors 😜🙏🏽
I have to say I love the lookout on the 37th Plus The View and the pools are great but that parking oh my God crazy. Speaking about bikes hope you don't mind me asking what's going on with your 400.? Anyway thanks again. Stay safe. From the US
It looks smaller than 55 sq/m but that could be the camera angles. Condos in Thailand always have such low ceilings. Your bike is lighter than 260 kg. Bound to get your bike scratched parking there. Excellent series.
Looks like no one around when you went to Unixx , just imagine when all the residents are home and the gym is full , the pool is full etc , nah too big a building and so many people would ruin peace and quiet :-)
I'm a newbie, pleasant s uprise viewing your. Hannel.. great to see Thailand area, not sure what it's foreigner living rules are, but definitely worth a look...nice video, great job.... I'll be back
A+++ On the view for sure! Your right on the furniture to much and to big for the unit. If it were "normal" time I just wonder how crowded it would be. Price for the location is A+. Parking, well not only seems small but to back up a bike would be hard for sure especially if the floor was wet. If they had a one bed with a bit binger living area maybe. but this one I would pass on. But what do I know..lol willie stuck in seattle
Parking, or lack of it, seems to be an ongoing theme in Thai condo's and multi story malls. You were right to go check the parking out and your point that it was already full at low occupancy means it'd be a nightmare once things got back to normal and occupancy even increased to only medium.
Hey Lucas thanks for the video. Lucas I know that you want a place in the center of the city but since you have a bike why dont you try Laguna 2 in Jomtien? It is close to the wet market and rather upscale area. the price could be even less than a half of what you see in downtown. It is a very relax and quiet place to live. out of the noise and a big pool and minimum noisy people but sometimes you can see chinese or koreans and then the pool is just super noisy.
Another 10 minutes just on the motorcycle area. That big BMW,KTM and those funky cafe style motorcycles are so cool to see. Guys all around the world love their bikes. And women, hot women washing bikes, sitting on bikes.Women riding bikes. 😍
For B15k ,i would want a decent balcony .Also i prefer not to live more than 6 floors high .If there is a fire its possible to escape by rope ,but not if your on the 37 th floor. The ground floor pool looks nice with good shade for relaxing in the sun .
Great condo I concur just missing the floor to ceiling windows and just far enough outside of the craziness of central Pattaya . Looking forward as always to the next instalment
Lovely building, but living on the 37th floor may be changeling as many elevators in Thailand have a high failure rate. Not many "older" folks able to walk up and down 37 flights each day !
Yikes!! That place looks like where we lived in a high rise luxury apartment in North Bethesda, MD, before retirement. It was OK while working, but I swore to never live in one of those again. Too cramped, too many people, the parking situation sucks, not much of a kitchen. I would probably get a nose bleed that high up and once you get over the view, then what? But, it's your money and hope you enjoy that sort of thing.
nice view. I like the price. But I want just one bedroom and a bigger living area. That would be my desire. But 37th floor is a deal breaker. I don't want to be up that high. Good showing though
I am sure you are not going to live there! Good luck further on. You for sure are going to get something that you like more for that price. Mc parking terrible, but the View is fantastic!
So you have to sign for a 1 year lease I seen month to months private on Airbnb . I would take 90 days on a private Airbnb like I am staying in Thailand for 90 days to see if I can live there . Luke don’t sign anything because once the gates open and the streets are noisy with tourist you may say forget it .
The Point Pratumnak was less convenient for me as I don't ride a bike, but may be a better fit for you and Vee at an even lesser price. Less impressive (but nice) pools and small gym also, but larger rooms and bigger parking spaces for your bike...
Details, parking is a big deal if you have a vehicle. I stayed at a condo in Hawaii and wasn't aware of the parking , I could barely fit my car in the spaces they provided. Good info 👍
Quite a bit of leg work for the agent to go to all these condos and their commission is still quite low after splitting it with the company etc. IMO I would link her info to market her agent services and with all the views in this series, I could see her getting multiple new clients out of the videos! 👍
I was staying at centara condos off soi bukauo but they do 12 month leases at 18,000 baht. Then want 2 months deposit up front. That's just for a single. I think I'll keep looking. I've seen people luck out and get a great 10,000 baht condo.
Amazing video !! Thank you so much for sharing 👍Awesome! 🌷🌻🌺🌹😍 Thank you very much for these enriching videos, I have followed you for a long time, God protect you. 👍🇹🇳🌴
In Boca Raton, as long as you were right in the path of a breeze moving over a wide body of water. The 4th floor had a nice breeze/clean air. So I imagine as long as your next to the Gulf of Thailand, it would be pleasant. Inland, above the highest floor of nearby buildings???
I stayed in UNIXX for two months. Yes the amenities are amazing, but at that time it was slammed with tourists and you would spend a good 10-20 minutes waiting for an elevator. Seems like a minor thing, but actually really inconvenient. You really can't beat the views on the high floors though. I can definitely see you ending up in Jomtien or pratamnak. Good vid, enjoy the search.
Woohoo Condo series .. you should continue showing us what you get for your money in Thailand even when you succeeded in finding your condo, this is so interesting! ::)
Hi Lucus I love you're videos just a quick question maybe you could answer in one of your next video I was wondering what the fire protection is in them condos is there a sprinkler system etc ??.
I have always lived in apartments instead of what they call condos, the rent is usually less than half, more space and not so many people in the buildings. The only thing that does not exist is the pool
Well I think you can scratch that condo off your list. Parking sucked, room looked cramped and a little dated. Negatives outweighed positives. Onto the next one.
market relativity, notwithstanding the time period at hand. That is a good deal IMO, though I live in 24 sq mtrs for 4000 month, not quite the view. From there, you compare local offerings, but I am not sure whether you are at that point or not.
nice vid ive just come across yur channel...personally i need to have table n chair set on the balcony ans sit out there, also 37 floors up is quite a ways ...not for me personally
Hi Lucas! You might want to look to the APUS condo at central Pattaya. I used to live there. Interesting to see how it is changed over a couple years. Your videos are great! May be it is still good for your consideration. Thanks.
Oh Yes Sky garden for me..who need a TV when you have a veiw like that...great condo but so many nice condos how you pick one.....Best parking for the moter bike maybe..bye4now
Hi, I've never stayed in one these condominiums. To me they seem like an oversized hotel room, it wouldn't be for me. Good luck though I hope you find what your looking for 👍👍
Hi , great videos lately, but please tell me what ever happened to that small bike you were getting done , I saw the blog where you pick it up but it to go straight back to the shop and I lost track of it 🤔
I stayed on the 41st floor for a couple of months before the visa amnesty ended (and was subsequently extended!) It's so conveniently located a few mins from Phra Tumnak Gardens, and with the Baht Bus passing by a couple of mins away. The rooms are pretty small, in comparison to those you'd get on the hill or in Jomtien, but the location and the pool made up for it for me
This apartment looks better than others earlier in the series. The others were all very small. Are these places designed as second or holiday homes ? The reason I ask is there doesn't appear to be any storage space or much in the way of cupboards or closets. Perhaps they're. made for people who live elsewhere and come there on weekends and vacations or maybe short term leases. Personally if it were me looking I'd probably try to find a house a little bit away from the center of town. Maybe a 3 or 4 bedroom house with plenty of cupboards and closets and perhaps a garage and yard. But for someone who wants to live close to all the night life and action this building looks good I couldn't live any higher than about 8 floors.Any higher and I get severe vertigo and panic attacks if I go out onto the balcony or roof.! All things considered, this place looks excellent value. Maybe you could get a reserved parking space.I suspect most of those scooters belong to the employees and not the residents ! I'm looking forward to seeing the next condo !

Great job covering rental options in Pattaya! Many expats will be watching to make plans to more to Thailand.
One of favorite sites. Great and informative Thai travel... thanks
Dropping a comment for the algorithm because I LOVE Thailand Condo content!
What a phenomenal view from the garden and you had a beautiful day to see it!
I stayed there for 1 night (I wasn't supposed to, I'd booked somewhere else). Couldn't wait to get out. Building far too big for me, but as he says there is nothing outside the building. Evening Loucous and Vee condo was nice view was spectacular looking forward to rest of videos.
Great view @ 6:05 it's like post card.
Loved the unbeatable view from the first condo. Great vlog.
Glad you showed the parking situation, thanks.
Suzanne is striking! Love to have her driving me around looking for a condo 😋.
Bike parking was an eye opener ..yep way to tight for bigger touring type bikes. My FJR1300 with full factory panniers and top box would have a problem
I'm in love with Susanne!!😍

Very good episode great info thanks
Very good vodies on buying a condo I enjoyed it very much
I recommend check out Laguna Maldives.saw it from your garden Unix view
Another nice your Lucas! Good lord the views... And that Suzanne!
*tour*
i loved the views. That is the most awesome view Lucas....amazing
Love all your work. Be safe hope to buy you a drink
Very good reviews of these properties. I have a one bedroom in Arcadia Beach resort which I like a lot. Good luck finding your new home
You should give a try to Pratamnak area it's a very quiet and nice area only few minutes from Pattaya center

A condo lucas like that just a few feet from the fun swimming pool will suit me just fine 🙂

First one is a winner!!! I take that two bedroom in a moment!!!!
Have to admit, Suzanne looked really pretty in her dress!

Yes, not sure why I said 260kg?? Maybe that was a lottery number I was looking for 🤣
@@Rides4Kickz I hope you win, but if you do, keep going with this vlog!
Looks like no one around when you went to Unixx , just imagine when all the residents are home and the gym is full , the pool is full etc , nah too big a building and so many people would ruin peace and quiet :-)
Just imagine when all the Chinese and Indians are back renting rooms there on AirBnB...
i don't do notifications, but I follow you closely. I am subscribed. Thanks so much for your excellent videos. Stay healthy and all the best.!
Unixx was nice with good amenities but units were a bit small. Thanks for sharing 😀
For the money I think it’s great value !!! I wouldn’t say no for sure cheers for sharing 🙏🙏
Nice work Phil cool
A nice Condo there Lou. Keep looking though. I think there could be better around. 👍
I like the floor to ceiling windas
I'm a newbie, pleasant s uprise viewing your. Hannel.. great to see Thailand area, not sure what it's foreigner living rules are, but definitely worth a look...nice video, great job.... I'll be back
Star Beach Condos, Soi 4 Pratamnak, 15k, 10th floor.... NO need air con on wind blows right on thru

Love to meet you in Pattaya soon when we get back, maybe in the assienda! Love your vids and your style. Regards from the UK.
If you havn't already committed to a contract have you looked in Pattaya sale and rent on facebook 35 sqm going for as low as 7k baht at unixx
Another quality review! Beats my one bedroomer in Northern Europe by a mile. Both quality and price wise. Makes me wonder what am I doing here?
very well done videos keep um coming :)
Perfect video -- right at my price point!! Thanks buddy

Lucas you loved Bangsan why have u decided to leave .Thailand is doing it tough this will last a long time indeed.

Nice place, but a very small apartment. You are paying for the pools and other amenities. The real estate lady is a beauty.
Woohoo Condo series .. you should continue showing us what you get for your money in Thailand even when you succeeded in finding your condo, this is so interesting! ::)
UNIX looks awesome! I would love to stay there for a year! Thanks for the video
I have a 1 bedroom condo there for rent in Unixx if you're interested... and yes I'm the owner.
I really like this one. Have never check this one out. . Need to look at and inquire about it
Hi Lucus I love you're videos just a quick question maybe you could answer in one of your next video I was wondering what the fire protection is in them condos is there a sprinkler system etc ??.
Normally fire detectors in each room linked to centralised alarm. Not normally sprinklers though.
I have always lived in apartments instead of what they call condos, the rent is usually less than half, more space and not so many people in the buildings. The only thing that does not exist is the pool
(you'll never ride alone lucas) best wishes from gerry liverpool.
Yeah I love rooftops. Miss that. The second place is a beehive
Well I think you can scratch that condo off your list. Parking sucked, room looked cramped and a little dated. Negatives outweighed positives. Onto the next one.

Thank You 🙏

Hi Lucas! You might want to look to the APUS condo at central Pattaya. I used to live there. Interesting to see how it is changed over a couple years. Your videos are great! May be it is still good for your consideration. Thanks.
Thanks, maybe I will 👍
Really great choices.
Definitely take your time and ignore the wimp comments that say its small.
Oh Yes Sky garden for me..who need a TV when you have a veiw like that...great condo but so many nice condos how you pick one.....Best parking for the moter bike maybe..bye4now
Even the greatest view gets old after few months
Hi, I've never stayed in one these condominiums. To me they seem like an oversized hotel room, it wouldn't be for me.
Good luck though I hope you find what your looking for 👍👍
Great vid. Very informative.
Wouldn’t you be interested by low rise condos instead ?
Congrats on the 30k!
Nice condo. How is the soundproofing in these units? I find that quite important. It is not always easy to judge in a short visit of course.
Is it wrong that I was looking forward to seeing your real estate agent again, as much as your possible new digs 🤔? She is a lovely woman.
Enjoying you series
Hi , great videos lately, but please tell me what ever happened to that small bike you were getting done , I saw the blog where you pick it up but it to go straight back to the shop and I lost track of it 🤔
Thanks for this information. 500 usd is for day, week or for 30days ? Tks
I stayed on the 41st floor for a couple of months before the visa amnesty ended (and was subsequently extended!)
It's so conveniently located a few mins from Phra Tumnak Gardens, and with the Baht Bus passing by a couple of mins away.
The rooms are pretty small, in comparison to those you'd get on the hill or in Jomtien, but the location and the pool made up for it for me

But for someone who wants to live close to all the night life and action this building looks good
I couldn't live any higher than about 8 floors.Any higher and I get severe vertigo and panic attacks if I go out onto the balcony or roof.!
All things considered, this place looks excellent value.
Maybe you could get a reserved parking space.I suspect most of those scooters belong to the employees and not the residents !
I'm looking forward to seeing the next condo !
Better look for a Studio with 55 sqm instead three small dog kennels in the Unixx.
Sawadee Krap Ka! Maraming Salamat for taken us with you on your condo search. Very informative. I hope your motorcycle gets washed again soon. (sarcasm!

Whats the status of Ghost Tower? That place would have great views..
Interesting vid....... high spec properties in Thailand 🇹🇭👍🏻
Great video mate
Hi Lucas. No resteraunt or cafe. Also do these places have protection for earth quakes and fire equipment. I dont like being high up. The pools were sweet.
Some good condos have a separate parking area reserved for big bikes
Really enjoyed this video. Never seen Pattaya from that vantage point before. What's the WIFI situation like in a unit like that(Unixx)?
I definitely like the more central condos over this really. Grand Avenue or Centric Sea. The living area in unixx as well as kitchen is pretty cramped. The other condos you can walk everywhere. Imo. Good luck
