I just wanted to go with a somewhat conservative size for the comparison. This animal is known from only a small number of specimens. The largest specimens are known only from beaks found in sperm whale stomachs and the estimated max length is 9-10 m.

I didn't remembered what size i used in this image and another image. I rechecked them, the squid is about 9.5 m in the image seen from the video. This is a modified image to make the squid somewhat smaller but yet it looks massive because it has short tentacles and huge mantle. Previously the same image had the squid at 14 m. After a while, i made a new image where i used 7.5 m for the colossal squid and this one also has the right sized tentacles length which is slightly shorter than seen in the previous image. I noticed not everyone preferred to use large estimates of 10 m+ for the comparison. The is an artist i know quite well, he used 7 m as max estimate for the colossal squid and 15 m for the giant squid, the reason because the latter has extremely long tentacles.
(Steve O’Shea one of the world’s leading experts on big squids said that juveniles of this species are not uncommon from surface waters to ~1000m depth. This species attains the greatest weight, but not necessarily greatest length of all squid species, and is known to attain a mantle length of at least 2.5m.)
Seems like this artist made the colossal squid way bigger in the first reconstruction and later on corrected it.

(Original estimates of the length were 8-10 m for the largest 495 kg specimen. The team quickly realized that the specimen was much shorter than this. They came up with a final total length of 4.2 m. It seems that the two tentacles may have shortened and shrunk considerably after the squid had died.)
Judging from the estimate, it's clear that even though the squid's tentacles may have shortened and shrunk after it's death, 10 m or even 9 m seems highly unlikely for this specimen. The colossal squid may have grown larger.
