Yk Tabby being an axe makes a lot more sense to how she knew how to do critical hits at the Wooden Sword level, not just because she came from outside but because critical hits are very important for axes specifically since you can't hit very often so it's better to make the most of it
whole episode without a single vine boom is crazy LMAOO.. in all seriousness really looking forward to chapter two :D the storytelling this episode was so well done!
please PLEASE let the second season start with infiltrating axe civilization looking for Tabi. I want in-world Evbo to have the same kind of perspective Tabi had, realizing he'd have to lie to everyone he meets and do all the things he accused Parrot/Tabi of doing. It'd put some stakes in dying and create a lot more tension in certain key story moments because he wouldn't be able to die without being sent back to Sword Civ.
You can tell Evbo is getting better at film making. The writing is progressively getting better, and that shot and voice acting at 17:24 went so hard. Can't wait for season 2!!!
That shot at 19:09 is actual cinema oh my god, especially with the added context from the previous episode where wemmbu calls the diamond layer "paradise". She's standing in paradise, having obtained the eternal sword and thus the key to eternal life. The only thing standing in her way being Evbo, surrounded in cold and mossy stone, mirroring the prison that he was born into. I WAS GONNA END IT THERE BUT ALSO I JUST REALIZED, THE THING SEPARATING THEM ARE THE ARMOR STANDS, THE VERY THING EVERYONE SPENDS THEIR LIFESPAN ON, WALKING PAST THEM IN HER TRANSITION INTO ETERNAL LIFE AS SHE ABANDONS HER HUMANITY!? It's so peak...
WAIT THATS A CRAZY CONNECTION! And the reason Evbo was already behind the stands is because he’s be functionally immortal for a while. The next time they meet they’ll be on even ground or maybe even have the roles reversed!
@ I think it’s just to signify how used it is, it has infinite uses but even so I suppose it would still wear out overtime. Could definitely be foreshadowing something though!
This is the finale cuz the end is like shit tbh it’s just evbo making the journal if it’s the end maybe the worst conclusion cuz tabi isn’t dead I don’t get it
Unironically peak storytelling, this installment was genuinely good, not in a Minecraft mini-movie type of good, just great as a cinematic project. The next journey in the PVP Civ World couldn't come sooner
Honestly, yeah. I love how Evbo and Tabi’s final conversation was surprisingly well-written and had some pretty cool cinematography on top. And the animation at the end was welcomed, of course. Also the entire series just had very good build ups and pay offs so it felt very satisfying to watch. I’m definitely interested to see where this goes.
came for parkour civilization, stayed for pvp civilization because your storytelling is genuinely unmatched. my goodness. it's honestly so amazing to see the improvement in writing between the 3 series that i've seen(simulation -> parkciv -> pvpciv), it truly went from peak to peaker to even peaker. i'm on the edge of my seat waiting to see where you take the story next! keep up the amazing work man!!!
@@urbudd1952 sure I guess but idk how would you make tense battle moments that a lot of other people understand who dont do redstone? it would be odd and weird to get used to.
0:46 JESTERPENETRATE?!!!!! I'm so glad he came back to PvP Civilization too! Hopefully Seawatt and Grox from a secret Gun Civilization also comes back for Season 2.
to be honest i'd love to see a re-introduction of people like the guy that handed evbo his sword back in chapter 1, people who believe there's no need to fight (maybe the shields could be pacifists?) While i know he mostly just existed to serve the plot, he's the thing that sparked evbo's belief in a world where no one has to fight.
As a filmmaker and writer, some of the shots in this are gorgeous. The shot with Tabi and Evbo on either side, separated by the armor stands has so much layered meaning to it, it's kind of crazy. And the pacing of this episode is genuinely - can't believe I'm saying this - some of the best I've seen on UA-cam. I have to keep reminding myself that this is a silly Minecraft webseries, but wow, is there thought put into this.
@@alfred6349 I did, and the series was alright. Coming at from a media study POV it did what it set out to do - take a ridiculous concept and play it completely straight. It's nothing too special. Some of the worldbuilding was well thought-out, but the dialogue and characters felt boring and uninspired. This one is leagues ahead.
16:40 "The problem with hearing a lie is that you can do everything in your power to forget about it but it will always occupy that small space in the back of your mind and that tiny piece of the lie thats left will be just enough to make you to start looking for ways to prove its the truth" is just chills, pure chills
this episode actually left me with my jaw dropped and what is basically a massive lore drop then a cliffhanger in the end just makes me absolutely devastated that i cant see this whole story wrap up yet, but i will be waiting, patiently
Theory : the reason Shields are born in Sword Society was because Shields were the weakest, since they can’t deal any damage, so the Swords took them in and gave them weaponry to survive, at the cost of working for them and being their guards
I think it’s not that the swords want to protect the shields, it’s the shields want to protect the swords. Like Parrot said, the Bows, Axes, and Tridents have beef with each other for no reason besides achieving immortality, and they farm the swords for it. Notice how the Shields were not mentioned a single time. I think the Shields are the pacifists of this world, the ones who, like the weapon itself, prefers peace over fighting. It makes sense since shields are used for protection, not to attack with. My guess is the swords asked the shields for protection, at the cost of them being guards and basically treating them however they want to. Also about Evbo’s guard friend killing him in episode 3 - like Evbo mentioned here, he has just begun his self-discovery, and has no idea that shields are supposed to be pacifists. It’s probably why he even decided to ally with Evbo in the first place - That’s what shields are for.
Ok. I think I made an In-depth Analysis on the format of Pokemon-style type counter and weakness for each weapon-types. (Note: This is assumed that there are no enchants. *Looking at you Trident with loyalty* And also no other weapons or auxiliary or healing items to be used during PvP.) Shield is very effective on Bows, even more effective on Tridents (Ranged, not on Close-combat), weak to Swords, and extremely weak to Axes. My reasoning lay on the fact that Shields can better recover faster than Bows aiming load time. And Bows need arrows (a lot against Shield's durability) to consume so if it is a matter of Attrition, Shields last longer than Bows and less consuming. The same also applies to Tridents, Shields has nearly hundred more durability and uses compared to Trident's meagre ~250 uses. Against Axes, we know this. Against Swords, Swords are quicker to hit and more mobile than Shields the slow-paced block. (Yes, I do know that Bows can attack fast the shorter the time it takes to load, but you should know it deals less damage and less range. And besides, if Bow-users get too close to Shields, then what is stopping the Shield-users to engage in Melee.) Bows are weak to Shields, but are effective against Swords and Axes as long as you maintain distance. It is also effective against Tridents as long as the Trident relies on close combat with no Environmental Advantage (such as Rain or near water), if the Trident has Water Advantage, then Bow-users are screwed. Bows also had a wide variety of arrows they can use arrows like poison arrows to deal lasting damage. However, they are a bit more troublesome to prepare and craft, and also time and resource-consuming, and... let us be honest, who uses those variety of arrows in ordinary fights? They will mostly like use normal arrows in a PvP fight. Although they can dish out high amounts of damage and are great weapons of assassins, they also consume a lot of resources. Tridents are the rarest type of weapons, among the 5, to obtain and even troublesome to even get. They had no weapon variety like Shields but they do deal damage equal to Netherite Swords. They have ranged, but is one-time use. They deal high damage but have slower hit rate than swords but faster than axes. In close-combat on PvP fights, they lose to Swords and Axes. However, what Tridents excelled in compared to other Weapons are their mobility. If they used guerilla warfare where the terrain (e.g. water biome) and weather (e.g. rain) are in their favor, then there is no doubt that Tridents take the dub. Swords and Axes may seem equal at first, but if you were to put two equally strong players in different weapons to fight without any shields. The winner would undoubtedly be the Sword-users due to the fact that they have faster reloading speed. Although, the axe has more power, even with the added critical hit bonus. If you can attack faster while having a slight difference in damage with an equal similar limited pool of health. Then I see no reason why Swords can triumph Axes. Therefore, using a Sword is generally better for PvP fights. Also, I rate Axes to be a near equal to Swords, as long as they time their weapon well to dish out a good amount of damage and timing. Swords and Axes are near equal but Swords have a slight edge. Swords are effective on Shields while Axes are extremely effective on Shields, they are both effective on Tridents, but are extremely weak against Bows on distance, if they are close, then both Sword and Axes win. (We know exactly that the swords are one of the most common, if not the most common type of weapons to be used in PvP fights.) [Part 2 For Enchants may or may not be Coming Soon in this comment section]
Rewatched this a day later and haven't seen anyone point it out yet (spoilers) Parrot said in the video journal message that if Evbo died to the eternal sword, not even the armor stand in his room would let him respawn. Evbo even states this in the conversation with Tabi, implying that if she really didn't care about him, she would not let him respawn. When Tabi goes in for the kill, she initially holds the eternal sword, but after the cut to black, we see her holding her axe. While this could just be for durability afterwards, the fact that Evbo respawns means she did the final hit with the axe rather than the sword, letting him respawn. It shows that Tabi to an extent still cares about Evbo somewhat, as beforehand she even gave him a chance to just move out of her way, and when he didn't, she didn't truly kill Evbo forever, instead letting him respawn normally like he always did. Maybe her initial thoughts that betrayal would be easy as her mission is her only priority isn't fully true, and letting Evbo respawn as a mercy or thank you to the one person who helped her shows that. maybe in S2, she'd be conflicted in a decision between Evbo and the Axe civilization and this hesitation leads to Tabi helping him (idk im not a writer) Either way im excited for what comes next. The improvement in quality since i started watching back in creeper holes never filled has been insane and i can't wait for the next episode. (also about PrinceZam im pretty sure Tabi didn't cooperate with him as he's a trident which means he's just been sitting there waiting for Evbo to respawn for a long while)
That is a good point I hadn't yet considered. They talk about the eternal sword permanently killing him then he respawned and I initially assumed it was incorrect but your right she is holding an axe after killing him. So she did decided to spare him and was probably unaware of the spawn camping otherwise why bother. Your suggestion she found the whole betrayal business much harder to handle once actually involved also fits with real psychology. It is easy to say you will betray some before you get to know them quite different once you've become acquaintances. So her deciding last minute to spare him makes sense. As to your speculation on her character arc. No clue but I personally think your idea on her deciding to spare him is true.
"Are you the pvp god because you are evbo or are you evbo because you are a pvp god?" "If I could respawn just like you, would I also escape... this civilization?"
19:13 i really like this shot Separated by the armor stand symbolizing their lifespan Evbo being trapped in pvp civilization for his entire life being in the stone brick side, and Tabi being revealed as an axe being on the grassy side while still showing the walls of the pvp civilization showing freedom being trapped by greed
Evbo. On my life, this shit is insane. You are an amazing writer, like that is your gift dude, one million percent. If you start writing for movies or shows outside of your minecraft series, whether it be indie or industry quality, you’d absolutely kill it in those avenues I’m just saying. This is like, a full serious story. The worldbuilding, the writing, man the directing too is insane. I was fully invested.
Missed opportunity for some rock paper scissors lore shenanigans: axe > shield (disables) shield > bow (blocks) bow > axe (outranges) shield > sword (blocks) bow > sword (outranges) axe ? sword (skill matchup) --------- But gist is: axe, shield and bow can remain in balance with eachother and team up, whilst swords are easily bullied.
"This is bridging civilization. Here in bridging civilization you CONSTANTLY bridge." "Its said that some people can make head hitters WHILE bridging, but its never been done before... Only rumored to exist."
I'm trying to depict why each character is a certain weapon but just a theory Naturally born Sword: Evbo (born to be the next-generation of sword defender Naturally born Axe: Tabi (Saw this in a comment, foreshadowed earlier in series of when Tabi told Evbo about critical hits. [How critical hit is necessary for axe fighters]) Naturally born Bow: Parrot (All I can think of is that it's linked to Parrot's name, needing to fly so using high ground for the bow and getting good angles to shoot at opponents) Naturally born Trident: Princezam (Assuming because of Minecraft's underwater temple and being called "Prince" could mean Princezam was part of a underwater kingdom leading him to be a trident)
Insane theory The most powerfull weapon is not the eternal sword / netherite sword It is actually mace which has the ability to increase its damage as it falls So the chapter 2 is probably gonna be about the fight of the 5 civilization's However the chapter 3 of pvp civilization is gonna be about a completely new race / the mace civilization Who are gonna be terrorizing and oblidirating all of the 5 civilization's easily Due to their strength Completly invading the pvp civilization Which is gonna force all of 5 other civilization to unite in order to even stand a chance against this new unstoppable force
I'll admit that for the first 5 episodes of this series I thought it was mostly going to be a rehash of Parkour Civilization, but I do think this episode in particular had a couple of emotional moments and lore drops that beat the stuff in that series. (Spoilers ahead) In particular I appreciate the fact that Evbo (the character) isn't actually the chosen one (in general I like worldbuilding that isn't what it first appears) and that his 'romance' with Tabi turned into a full on betrayal. That was my least favorite part of this series early on. Not afraid to say I hope they don't end up together in the follow up series, lol. It would feel super dissatisfying at this point. But if the whole point of having Evbo hit on Tabi in a seemingly comedic way was to make the betrayal more surprising, that was genuinely pretty clever.
It's interesting tho that Tabu didn't use the Eternal Sword on him Since y'know that would permakill him , she used a diamond axe So there is something there
@@Kowery105 I'm gonna be honest. I 100% missed that. I thought the axe was just meant to show us what weapon she was born with and that the part about the eternal sword was just wrong (which is kinda stupid on my part, Evbo literally mentions it right after when he respawns, I dunno what I was thinking, it was late bruh). That's actually a really cool detail.
I actually had similar feelings and for a while had never even finished the first episode because I thought it would be the same thing over again until I watched parkour civ again and gave it a try and oh boy am I happy I did that
It makes sense why tabi is an axe because she teached evbo how to do crit hit, and parrot was not a bad guy after all he just want to live and he even reminded evbo to be careful around tabi
@@cuddlecakes7153i wonder what an eternal Trident and bow is ? Because other than axe there is no level beyond normal trident and bow maybe a crossbow for bow but thats it and ik shield doesn't have levels but the armor and Shield makes up for that
how are they capable of holding more than one type of weapon in their inventory, when evbo can't even get the iron axe dropped from one of the guys he killed?

Only 2 words for this:Absolute Cinema. This is actually so peak. The shots, the story,Bravo,Evbo. You never miss with your stories and you keep proving that.
I know this is very late in the story like VERY VERY late, but i just want to make a suggestion. Know I can't undo stuff Evbo has already done, just wanna share my thoughts. So, Tabi, even people he met infact, should make their nametags hidden for their first appearance and for their 2nd or 3rd appearance their nametag is shown, or maybe make their nametags show for when they reveal their names, symbolising on how Evbo and said characters have become closer to eachother. This is especially important to Tabi, so when this scene ( 17:20 ) plays, Evbo (the actual Evbo, not the minecraft Evbo) could make Tabi's nametag dissapear again, symbolising on how this isn't the Tabi that he used to know and hang out with, and how she has betrayed him.
@Evbo to be honest: i didnt expect myself to binge this thing. as a burned out 26M i feel refreshed after seeing this. -with all the bs of life, it is often very difficult to feel like a teenager again when all you needed to be enthralled by something, was to give time to it. also, i died in 2019 and struggle to feel elevated levels of emotions since then (but frustration and anger somehow still work..) but this video series made me feel something. thank you evbo.
it's... it's peak the absolute leaps and bounds in writing, cinematography, pacing, everything this is genuinely such a step up from even previous episodes, let alone parkour civilization (also tysm for taking it a bit easier with the vine booms and having more music than the one song i know it must've been a bit of an in joke at that point due to how excessive it used to be so it ended up being a bit "iconic haha" but the bit was outstaying its welcome and it seems you must've thought the same)
The PVP Civilization and The Parkour Civilization r my FAV!! I watch it everytime when im bored or need to do smth, i enjoy watching it and now im excited for PVP Civilization Season 2, I can't wait for it!
He's got to do a season 2. Parkour civilization got a season 2 and this one has way less of a conclusion to everything going on than parkour civilization season 1 did (not that it's an issue), so it's practically guaranteed
@@the10ofdiamondscard yeah he said video journal machine chapter 2 so i think he referring to chapter 2 pvp civ since now he is out its going to be so different im really exicted
13:15 parrot katniss lore 🗣🗣🗣 but jokes aside, it was so fun to see so many of the lifestealers in this video, and how much evbo's content has changed and grown. the lore was so fun, from the standard parkour or other civ video formats to such fun lore and worldbuilding.
Another amazing tale told. Can't wait for the second season. I'm guessing this series ends with an Endgame level war between the different factions. Also, i see a lot of people thinking Tavi is gonna be the BBEG at the end, but i think she's gonna turn around and end up helping to beat the real boss. She's obviously working for someone, and that's who we really need to be looking out for.
19:09 I had to PAUSE when I first saw this shot. THIS SHOT IS PERFECT I SWEAR! I love to look into philosophical meanings in scenes of story videos or movies. Firstof all! Just love how they used the ARMOR STAND to split the screen in two! this now shows the divide between the trust of evbo and tabbie but thats obvious enough. the use of the armor stand is smart, since the whole reason tabbie was in tthere the first place was to achieve the eternal sword which relates to immortality, and what do armor stand do? they are the catalyst for everything, and in exchange, they have to use their durability ; their life. What caused the split in trust between the protagonist and the new antagonist is because of the life, the limited life they have, and the armor stand which takes the life away is part of that reason. I also found something in the same scene aswell, havent decoded it, but i do have an idea. In that scene, the screen is split in two, one side with tabbie at the sword civilization, and evbo on the other at the exit of said civilization. maybe the meaning to why theyre on those sides is because evbo, which is a natural sword is born to achieve immortality and leave the civilization and fight, that the goal of being a sword. But on the other hand, tabbie, which is an axe, can never achieve immortality. Non natural swords yearn to invade the sword civilization and BE IN IT, just to get that one sword. So basically, evbo is at the exit in the scene cause he naturally yearns to leave, and tabbie is in the civilazation because she yearns to be in it.
This series isnt just PVP civilization. This series, no, this single episode that evbo has cooked today is, actually, almost acts as a trailer, from the sword's perspective for what i might call: The Weapon Cinematic Universe or.. something This is singlehandedly the craziest video Evbo has ever uploaded in his entire content creation career, i'm not even gonna understate it The pure amount of LORE evbo just casually dropped here is crazy its almost like every episode, the lore gets exponentially more and more revealed I noticed it myself and this is an unbelievable increase on insane scales We all basically originally thought that, for the past 5 episodes, this was just an incredibly done remaster, if you will, of parkour civilization Then, this episode decided to start existing Throughout the entire series so far, we have only focused on the "world" of PVP civ. Yet in this episode, we're amazingly told so much more with so many elements of storytelling perfectly brought together with common themes kept. It's basically perfect. We are revealed the secrets of, what i already said, the weapon cinematic universe We were told that the universe was essentially created by the "5 eternal weapons" which, as insinuated by the nature of the eternal sword, are a kind of legendary items that have infinite durability and are responsible for... yeah, creating the universe. we'll probably learn more eventually It is also insinuated here that there are OTHER civilizations beyond PVP. the Axe Civilization, the Bow Civilization, the Trident Civilization, but also mysteriously the... "Shield Civilization" The shields are probably the most confusing part of this entire series, and probably universe as well Shields, of course, aren't used for attacking, theyre for defending, kind of like a jack of all trades to counter ALL the civilizations. Reminds me of chi-blocking in the ATLA universe to be honest The thing with shields is that, they are essentially, a part of the Sword civilization too We see them in the form of guards, which, from what we see, are responsible for... actually, we're not very sure Hold on, lets go back a few episodes. In the "I become the HERO of PVP Civilization" video, otherwise known as level 3 or episode 3, or the iron level episode, which is also an episode where the lore-dropping and meta jokes get a heavy increase We get a lore-drop from evbo's (in the series) so-called "guard friend" who said "Thanks for the hits now i can rank up easier", something along the lines of that, or it mightve been in another episode. i dont really remember actually, it could be in episode 2, or episode 4 most likely. From this quote, its insinuated (wow im using that word a lot) that the shield people, or "guards" in the sword civilization deliberately WANT to be hit by the players, which might be why in the lower levels, they get daily pvp attacks from the players, which is also pvp civilization's mock on the "daily jump for food" joke in these civilization videos. Actually, we should probably call THIS series, that we're watching as of the moment, the "Sword Civilization" series, something like that, since it is also lore-dropped that the are other "kinds" of "PVP civilizations", so it'll help distinguish. Anyways, where was i? Shields, yeah. This is really interesting, as ive already said, shields are kind of an outlier in this whole universe thing. It might be revealed more of what they may be if evbo makes OTHER serieses dedicated to the other weapons in this cinematic universe, but thats unlikely, but then again, we dont really know. This video is actually crazy, this very "sword civilization" video has alone opened up an almost infinite amount of content for evbo to make, we have BARELY even started scratching the surface of the "WCU", weapon cinematic universe. It'd be cool ngl if evbo actually uses that term, one way or anothing. I dont know. I'm totally obsessing over all of this because this is, what we've basically all been thinking, like a million times better than Parkour civilization, like evbo used that as experience to learn his mistakes to make a civilization series way better then parkour civilization What I suspect to be coming next from this absolute frick ton of potential evbo has to make more content on and continue expanding upon the WCU (weapon cinematic universe, just reminding again) is that he'll start making videos ON the other civilizations and we basically learn a lot more about them, or maybe evbo's (in the series) story will continue. but of course, it wont go under same identity, as he is of course, leaving the sword civilization as we might have seen during his presumably final video journal in sword civilization epilogue at the end of this episode. _(slightly heavier swear warning going on, well just one f-bomb, just protect your innocent eyes lol if you are under the legal swearing age of 12 as decreed by carykh)_ What evbo has created now is not just silly skits that he can put the generic "Minecraft, but..." title and branding on again, he has made a fucking masterpiece in storytelling and minecraft content creation as a whole, he honestly might as well get on the level of Alan Becker storytelling at this point. He has learnt and clearly shows in this episode that he knows how to stage content, find camera angles and music and show the right things during epilogues and dialogue to really make the viewer feel like they are in the story almost, experiencing everything unfold in front of their very eyes and ears. It's actually crazy how what he's doing at this point. I'll be looking forward to what evbo will be doing now with the WCU, and if we'll be seeing more civilization videos going forward. Yapsesh is done now, you can rest, bye bye, also hi evbo if ur reading this :3

MASSIVE SPOILERS FOR THE VIDEO It’s odd that the apparent reason for why everybody wants to farm the swords is because they’re apparently the only ones who can achieve Netherite status… Somehow. Given that, while obviously bows and tridents have limited durabilities that can’t be upgraded (outside of Mending)… Axes can be Netherite too. Makes you wonder just how much more there is to PvP Civilization, and how much more is yet to be revealed. Gotta say, I was wondering how you’d wrap stuff up with this one, Evbo. And seeing that you’re instead spooling this out into a multi-part saga from the get-go is a very unexpected, but very pleasant surprise! Here’s to Chapter 2, man. I’m sure I speak for many when I say we’ll be ready and waiting!
I've been here since noob civilization. And I'm glad that i get to continue to enjoy this peak story writing. Evbo, my man, you really have a gift! As always, loved the episode and can't wait for the next one!
Somehow a spoiler. I don't think this is relevant at all, but i personally believe that if enchantments exist in this world, then tridents are the most powerful here. Simply because, well, the others can't do much. They have the overwhelming advantage in their domain, water. The other weapons wouldn't be able to fight as well as they do, and they can hold out indefinitely in the water. Of course this all wouldn't matter if enchantments don't exist. Edit: somewhat relevant apparently, i made this before yellow guy was revealed to be a Trident.
Hurray!!! This is so cool! Super excited for season 2! And once again thank you for your choice of presentation (like the video journal/ tabi montage, I feel like I would actually cry be it presented any other way, and now I'm just hopeful)
the use of tension and dramatic irony in this series is amazing considering it's about a minecraft player who is immortal thanks to a literal plot armor stand

As a filmmaker and writer, some of the shots in this are gorgeous. The shot with Tabi and Evbo on either side, separated by the armor stands has so much layered meaning to it, it's kind of crazy. 22:48 guard is the 1 true homie
Theory : the reason Shields are born in Sword Society was because Shields were the weakest, since they can’t deal any damage, so the Swords took them in and gave them weaponry to survive, at the cost of working for them and being their guards
I think the other weapons put them with the swords cause they were farming them and needed to make sure nothing went wrong
this is smart and wouldnt work with axes because they can disable shields making them useless
@@xslashpenguin000bro wrote a whole essay
Ok. I think I made an In-depth Analysis on the format of Pokemon-style type counter and weakness for each weapon-types.
(Note: This is assumed that there are no enchants. *Looking at you Trident with loyalty* And also no other weapons or auxiliary or healing items to be used during PvP.)
Shield is very effective on Bows, even more effective on Tridents (Ranged, not on Close-combat), weak to Swords, and extremely weak to Axes. And besides, if Bow-users get too close to Shields, then what is stopping the Shield-users to engage in Melee.)
Bows are weak to Shields, but are effective against Swords and Axes as long as you maintain distance.
(We know exactly that the swords are one of the most common, if not the most common type of weapons to be used in PvP fights.)

Parrot said in the video journal message that if Evbo died to the eternal sword, not even the armor stand in his room would let him respawn.
Maybe her initial thoughts that betrayal would be easy as her mission is her only priority isn't fully true, and letting Evbo respawn as a mercy or thank you to the one person who helped her shows that.
maybe in S2, she'd be conflicted in a decision between Evbo and the Axe civilization and this hesitation leads to Tabi helping him (idk im not a writer)
Either way im excited for what comes next.

I'll admit that for the first 5 episodes of this series I thought it was mostly going to be a rehash of Parkour Civilization, but I do think this episode in particular had a couple of emotional moments and lore drops that beat the stuff in that series. (Spoilers ahead)
In particular I appreciate the fact that Evbo (the character) isn't actually the chosen one (in general I like worldbuilding that isn't what it first appears) and that his 'romance' with Tabi turned into a full on betrayal.

I had to PAUSE when I first saw this shot.
THIS SHOT IS PERFECT I SWEAR!
I love to look into philosophical meanings in scenes of story videos or movies.
Firstof all! Just love how they used the ARMOR STAND to split the screen in two!
this now shows the divide between the trust of evbo and tabbie
but thats obvious enough.
the use of the armor stand is smart, since the whole reason tabbie was in tthere the first place was to achieve the eternal sword which relates to immortality, and what do armor stand do? they are the catalyst for everything, and in exchange, they have to use their durability ; their life.
This series, no, this single episode that evbo has cooked today is, actually, almost acts as a trailer, from the sword's perspective for what i might call:
The Weapon Cinematic Universe
or.. something
This is singlehandedly the craziest video Evbo has ever uploaded in his entire content creation career, i'm not even gonna understate it
The pure amount of LORE evbo just casually dropped here is crazy
its almost like every episode, the lore gets exponentially more and more revealed
I noticed it myself
and this is an unbelievable increase on insane scales
We all basically originally thought that, for the past 5 episodes, this was just an incredibly done remaster, if you will, of parkour civilization
Then, this episode decided to start existing
Throughout the entire series so far, we have only focused on the "world" of PVP civ.
Yet in this episode, we're amazingly told so much more with so many elements of storytelling perfectly brought together with common themes kept. It's basically perfect.
We are revealed the secrets of, what i already said, the weapon cinematic universe
We were told that the universe was essentially created by the "5 eternal weapons" which, as insinuated by the nature of the eternal sword, are a kind of legendary items that have infinite durability and are responsible for... yeah, creating the universe. we'll probably learn more eventually
It is also insinuated here that there are OTHER civilizations beyond PVP. the Axe Civilization, the Bow Civilization, the Trident Civilization, but also mysteriously the... "Shield Civilization"
The shields are probably the most confusing part of this entire series, and probably universe as well
Shields, of course, aren't used for attacking, theyre for defending, kind of like a jack of all trades to counter ALL the civilizations.
Reminds me of chi-blocking in the ATLA universe to be honest
The thing with shields is that, they are essentially, a part of the Sword civilization too
We see them in the form of guards, which, from what we see, are responsible for... actually, we're not very sure
Hold on, lets go back a few episodes.
In the "I become the HERO of PVP Civilization" video, otherwise known as level 3 or episode 3, or the iron level episode, which is also an episode where the lore-dropping and meta jokes get a heavy increase
We get a lore-drop from evbo's (in the series) so-called "guard friend" who said "Thanks for the hits now i can rank up easier", something along the lines of that, or it mightve been in another episode. i dont really remember actually, it could be in episode 2, or episode 4 most likely.
I'm totally obsessing over all of this because this is, what we've basically all been thinking, like a million times better than Parkour civilization, like evbo used that as experience to learn his mistakes to make a civilization series way better then parkour civilization
What I suspect to be coming next from this absolute frick ton of potential evbo has to make more content on and continue expanding upon the WCU (weapon cinematic universe, just reminding again) is that he'll start making videos ON the other civilizations and we basically learn a lot more about them, or maybe evbo's (in the series) story will continue. but of course, it wont go under same identity, as he is of course, leaving the sword civilization as we might have seen during his presumably final video journal in sword civilization epilogue at the end of this episode.
_(slightly heavier swear warning going on, well just one f-bomb, just protect your innocent eyes lol if you are under the legal swearing age of 12 as decreed by carykh)_
What evbo has created now is not just silly skits that he can put the generic "Minecraft, but..." title and branding on again, he has made a fucking masterpiece in storytelling and minecraft content creation as a whole, he honestly might as well get on the level of Alan Becker storytelling at this point.
Yapsesh is done now, you can rest, bye bye, also hi evbo if ur reading this :3
Probably shouldve also talked about the tabi and clownpierce presumably having a conversation at 0:46
but i dont wanna add that in after already posting the comment lol but thats something very interesting too!
@@Fiberoeatingfiber who is clownpierce again? I'm a little slow. Also I love this comment because I've been looking for a comment that kind of summarizes what's going on because this was such a heavy episode

PLEASE NOOOO NOT ANOTHER MONTH TO WAIT FOR THIS MASTERPIECE
I have been here since "if creeper holes were never filled"
And i gotta say, this is definitely one of my favorites. What a journey this was. I can't wait for chapter 2!
💚💚💚
That animation was sick as hell, I can't wait for chapter II of PVP civilisation, where we explore other civilisations. This is really good series.
chapter 2 is gonna be more hype then any piece of film coming out in the next decade
This series is actually so good it's somehow turning better than parkour civilization, all this is peak content and I love watching it like keep up the great work!
The plot twists were so insane I almost wet my pants
oh okay. cool. okay. amazing job as usual, there's some insane cinematography choices here, the voice acting is haunting me, the fact that there isn't a single vineboom in here is making me unreasonably upset (good), you will be hearing from my therapist concerning this month's bill (very positive) (compliment). can't wait for more :D
19:37 I love the Qandy animation!
Really interesting series hope u finish this soon love ur vids evbo!!
MASSIVE SPOILERS FOR THE VIDEO
It’s odd that the apparent reason for why everybody wants to farm the swords is because they’re apparently the only ones who can achieve Netherite status… Somehow.
I’m sure I speak for many when I say we’ll be ready and waiting!
finally, a comment that is relevant to the video
Im assuming netherite axes have been lost to time or smth
They probably haven't yet discover that
the axe civilization probably doesn't know because nobody obtain axe netherite
And what is with the Mace and Potions.
@@RedstonerM potion are not weapon and the mace probably some secret civilization living underground
They also could control *Lightning* !!!
Tridents impaling only gives extra damage to aquitic mobs in java, but in bedrock its to all mobs touching water are outside in the rain
His name is princezam bru
By the way its princezam not “yellow guy” as in you call him
