Its means Novice, after you pass the driving test (not the one for L) you get that. You can get a full license after 2 years

It's obvious though.Just because you have a lot of things to do doesn't mean it's a happy city.People here are less social,more money hungry than ever,and feel like they are working their life away.Whereas smaller towns with small communities close to large cities score high on the happiness ratings as they have great people to be with and lots to do in cities near them.

I'm from Rio (Brazil) and I went to Vancouver for 3 months, it was the best time of my life by far!! Vancouver is great and I love that city. I feel like a Vancouverite after this video. However, Tim Hortons is missing on this list ... Tim Hortons ftw! hahaha

Vancouver's nightlife does suck though.. the skytrains end around 1:30 AM so your only choice is to hitch a ride home or cab it, which is EXTREMELY pricy if you live in Surrey or surrounding cities. We don't even have uber. Drinks are also too overpriced. Also the main clubs and bars end wayy too early which is 2-3 AM. Everything ends early here it really sucks. Europe's nightlife i hear is 1000x better and they close later and its just better vibes there.

non of those "local produce markets" in vancouver sell locally grown produce. read the label...all from california. Plus...all they sell in the produce stores in Vancity (at least in point grey) is half rotten vegetables that real stores are too embarrassed to put on their shelves.

When I lived there for 3mo I was excited because I hate hot sunny weather and love the rain. But of course the three months I was there was when they were having a freak heat wave and had a weird lack of rain. So it was barely any different from the Ottawa summers I usually have to endure.

took a couple of notes from this haha visiting from Boston this week! i'm right downtown next to the soccer stadium you showed here. It really is Beautiful up here, today's our first full day of adventuring out in BC! i'll be sure to complain and sky train with no hands is harder than riding the T with no hands! hahaha PS: The bikers are soooo much worse in Boston! you're lucky that the bikers here don't think they are driving an actual car!

I heard about Van in 2010, I read a lot about it in 2015, I visited it in 2016 and I decided to live in it in 2017 or 2018 ia.
excellent suggestions! I would also recommend brushing up on craft beer knowledge, or local coffee companies. so important to be at least either a beer snob, or a coffee snob. insider tip: parking lots/spaces, etc. are really just loose guidelines. in reality, if you put your four-way flashers on, you can park any-fucking-where you want. on the curb, in the park, on the beach, ANYWHERE.
