I can't believe how accurate these videos are.
04:55 every client in every creative job ever
IKR
We'll fix it in post. I know that feeling. It never gets fixed.
so true!!!
Alex Hartzog usually I get my time of day fixed lol
Fix it in post usually means cut the whole scene
Lol
$8000 for "editing gear" that ends up being a gaming pc.
This is just too perfect.
Did you recognize yourself a bit? ;)
Shamelessly yes,
Sneaky Zebra h
I actually did the slider thing once with the skateboard this is the most accurate video ever.
Me too lmaoo
Me too
nice gunna profile pic
how the fuck did this get 300 likes lmfao this comment is shit who was liking this i was like 2 5 years ago
Client: "Could you make that warmer but bluer?"
Me: "COuLd yOU mAKe tHaT WaRmeR bUT blUeR?"
You need to know the difference between a dead cat and a dead cat
Yeah I thought of that too.
HEYITSTHEBIRD !!! It’s funny cause I read the two differently. I hear one as accented dead and the other as accented cat
Yeah
I like how in almost (ALMOST) all of his videos, there is some way or another, a mountain biker.
+Spencer Nelson all of his videos have mountain bikers in them, because they are mountain bikers. but i see what you are saying
3:33 Oh my god that break up scene, Im Dead.
😂😂😂😂
You forgot editing for hours on end and losing track of time and becoming a hermit and what year is it
This was amazing. Was laughing the entire time!
2:47 part of me just died there
Damn I love the quality of your videos
RED Camera fixed in post? :)
tasiorTMD Don´t forget to ask about the LUT :)
This is perfect! You can add some sound stuff - getting room tone, taking clocks off walls, unplugging fridges, pausing for airplanes, etc.
Thanks for the tips. Does anyone know where I can rent a potato? Filming some voiceovers this weekend.
Peter Chao
idaho film has some good stuff
Step 33: _"Watch satirical 'How To Be A Filmmaker' videos and laugh at how none of these apply to you...in hindsight"_
Want to be a filmmaker? Let us teach you!
Oh this SO made my day!
Do: How to be a swimmer
Your face.............I like that shit
I really like your video but the background music is really annoying :[
what film school do you go to
The lens cap and fixing in post is literally my life.
Was this shot on ALEXA? - It looks like it was shot on ALEXA.
Was this shot on a RED? - It looks like it was shot on a RED.
Was this shot on a F55? - It looks like it was shot on a F55.
Was this shot on a URSA? - It looks like it was shot on a URSA.
This is me litteraly every time I watch a movie. I am right 90% of the time. And if i am wrong i blame it on the colourists :D
yes
It's not a good thing! It's odd.
I was reading comments, while the Video was still playing and your comment was exactly at the right time!
I focus more in the language of the camera, the script supervision, the continuity (which is related to the back one), the acting, the music and of course the story by itself (plot, dialogs, etc).
Continuity errors had me laughing so hard I cried when boom hit him in the face.
Holy shit! :D I fucking loved that!! Soooo true! :D
Du bist auch hier?! Und ja, das Video ist so perfekt.
HAHAHA JA MUSS :D
Und jeder einzelne Punkt erinnert mich irgendwie an mich :)
:D
Can we please have more how to's, I miss them
The fact this is 5 years old , still funny af😂😂
Omg, that was fucking perfect. Loved every second of it!!
Step 12b: Get second degree burns from touching the barn doors.
yeeeeaaaa thats why I use leds
Arri Kits are painful
And click bait with hot chicks. Don't forget about that one
So true
a man of culture I see
3:39 i lost it when i saw this guy with orange in his hands
This actually blew my mind. I want to start doing filmmaking and I love action sports
Pointing out errors in movies is actually something everyone hates me for lol
i wasn't ready for this level of accuracy
This is relatable on so many levels.
Make it warmer but blue-er lol
SO SPOT ON! You guys are genius
Step 33: Buy a slider and use it on absolutely fucking everything.
This is fantastic!!
You forgot the old flipcam bro
Ask about which camera should I buy without giving any info............ :P
This is so real it hurts
The quality of these videos is fucking crazy. Pure love guys!
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Hi fantano. Im glad to see you here

Arrithony Sandbagtano
theneedledrop TPAB review when

You guys helped me through a breakup, getting my car totaled (I got hit by a drunk driver in my dream rocket bunny Miata), and just general stress and anxiety and for that I really have to thank you.
Laughed all the way through, great job guys!
Love your videos guys! Really nailed this one
As someone in film school... this was painfully accurate
Guys this is amazing! I found myself many times haha! So funny
I dont know how many times Ive watched this and it never gets old :D
Very informative guys! Another great video!
I just realized how sadly true this is. My lens collection can prove it.
This video is a masterpiece!
One of the funniest videos, Guerrilla Filmmaking, Lens Caps (Every Filmmaker's pain in the A) Good job guys
You guys are so awesome :) keep up the great work :)
Brilliant!
Watching you slip-run at Gerry Point was pretty funny
YOU KNOW TOO MUCH
+IFHT Haha this is funny. I still remember that near-disaster moment.
+IFHT Thank you.i wanna be a filmmaker too.
+IFHT i'm from indonesian
This is awesome! Great job guys!
Wow I pretty much laughed through out this whole video🤣🤣 You guys did a good job in this😆👍🏼
Step 100: DONT LET PEOPLE TRY YOURE DRONE
Holy shit this is supposed to be humorous but this is unbelievably true. I can confirm everything said in this vid.
This is brilliant!! You hit every nail on every head!!!!
This is the video that i needed 4 years ago! :)
fix it in post.... awesome!
I don't even care about lens caps anymore, I lost all.
Btw it was great, I cried 😂
Same with my lenscaps
i lost mine too, but it did really solve a problem for me😂
fabulous video , very funny while still being a bit educational !
great job guys!
The best video ever guys! Great Job 👊
Great video folks. You may have missed at least one thing... finding the committed talent. I'm sure in larger areas it may be a little easier to find actors but in smaller areas where I'm from we have lots of talent who are ready and willing to perform until the day of the shoot and then they are nowhere to be found. Frustrating!!
Deaddd
I rarely comment on vids but this is a true masterpiece :D and at some points i just had to laugh because its just 100% accurate awesome job guys and very well made :D
Love it. You guys nailed it.
Where did you get access to all that gear?!? All my college has is a bunch of clunky Betacams for news.
Check out fusioncine.com/ They set us up with a lot of the gear! Kessler Crane and Rode Microphones provided additional gear as well!
You guys honestly have the ability to be the next FreddieW and Corridor Digitals! I'm excited to see what you post in the future. It's impossible to find good content these days, and having stuff produced by college peers is nice to see!
6:14 George Lucas
I really enjoyed watching this video. It was entertaining and informative at the same time.
Just starting doing that all and its helping already
Thanks so much
Buy every roll of coloured gaffer tape possible.
Lmaoooo
Oooh guys.. I can't find my lense cap
You guys are awesome! Kept laughing for all the video :D
These videos are brilliant.
To be fair, if you don´t know "Citizen Kane", well, watch the damn film damnit! It is freaking "Citizen Kane".
2:42 The cost of this scene:
My absolute favorite video on UA-cam right now. And soooooooooooooooooooo true
Most underrated channel on the internet.
how to be a photographer pls
hahahahaha
It will be more worst lol😂
Citizen Kane is my personal favourite film mhmamhmamha
This is the best video on UA-cam! So true!
I still love that Jason turns the light on
"take a photo of every RED you encounter"
alexa 65: >:(
Bring enough gaff tape and XLR cables to circle your entire set... twice.
Amazingly beautiful 😂 just seeing this brings me to reality that me and my friends still go through every bit in this video. But that’s the beauty
So true especially about the ones with balancing the stabiliser, buying a shit ton of lenses and losing lens caps
How to be a Gamer
How to be a Vegan! LIKE THIS!
This makes me love being a filmmaker even more
Guys, I loved you from How to be a Mountainbiker.. But this time you really did it.
PLEASE MAKE:
HOW TO BE A VFX ARTIST
Hahahahahahahahaha
Good video, very light heated angle of how to be a film maker. Very informative.
I am not a professional filmmaker but step 18 for me is so accurate.
Now "make the "How to be a photographer"!!
hahahaha
It will be more worse lol
What did we miss? Step 1: Be male. Apparently.
***** such a good film
Are you saying female can't be a filmmaker?
Nads if I directed it it would've been 10 times better
Lkhagvasuren Davaatseren i don't know about that. i don't think it could have been directed any better.
Amazing
loved thanks for the tips
This is just a summery, you need to study and learn every step. Thanks guys sums it all
