The bike was not lowered. I believe what you're seeing is that the bike is on a rear stand so the suspension is slightly more compressed then it would be on its side stand. almost every picture of these bikes is on the side stand so that's my closest guess.
the bike looks awesome, I am shopping around for a first bike and was told to check out the mt07. When I saw this I liked the style alot more, how has owning it been? how is the maintenance? And would you recommend
@@ryantumey3929 this was my first bike, I loved it, maintenance was pretty easy to do myself, great bike if you plan on doing a few mods because a lot of parts from the fz/mt 07 fit directly on. I was always getting compliments when I had this bike. I will say its probably not the best first bike, but if you do end up getting it, it will last you a long time before you feel you may want to get another bike
I’ve been looking for a tutorial that shows what the riser clip ons look like. Do you think they’d be any difference in the 31 mm riser? I want to go for an aggressive position.
I think the 31mm riser would be a good height, but based off when I was positioning my bar, I don't think the triple tree would let the risers fit. However, based off when I did it, I believe (theoretically) you can go more aggressive and use standard out the front clipons, as long as you can get it to fit between the shock and headlight bracket
Hi there I’m very much a noob here but I’m planing to get the mt07 (same thing ig but the xsr ain’t available here) so I’m just wondering like can’t you jsur get some clip ons and clip em on the forks and delete the clamp+stock bars
I believe you can get basic clip ons, I just wanted some with a little bit of a rise for a better riding position, but for the mt07 woodcraft makes an adapter plate that mounts the guage and bolts into the stock bar mount
@@xavkno I know but the woodcrafts are just not the look I’m going for :( Like I just adore those retro Ducati cafes but there’s not much here so I’m trying really hard to achieve that look, especially at the front. Like literally every video about handlebars is about the woodcrafts, but youre like the only vid ok UA-cam that produced the best results. I thought if it’s possible to remove the forks and slide those clip ons between the chassis clamps and delete the rest. I hope you get what I’m saying sorry for the long long long eply hahaha also subbed
@lilnips yes you could technical put standard clipons onto a mt07 like how I did on mine, you would need to check the spacing between the headlight and the forks to make sure the clipons you are getting fit, woodcraft sells 2 pieces clipons that don't require you to remove your triple tree or dropping your forks to install. The next big problem I ran into was mounting the guage. If you can find a bracket that mounts the guage below where the bar mounts are, or somewhere completely different, then you can install clipons
I did it purely for looks. in my opinion every benefit there is to clip-ons could also be achieved by just getting aftermarket bars, and it would be way less and be way easier. there are only two reasons I would do clip-ons; you have a windshield on your bike and you want to tuck in to be fully protected from the wind. Or you plan on taking the bike to the track, where swapping out the individual bars when you crash is cheaper and easier to replace than buying a whole new handlebar set. But if you don't care about any of that, you can do what I did, because I thought it looked cooler than stock.
did you lowered your bike? the back one seems different from the ones I see normally. they have wide gaps from the seat to the back tire?

That bike looks absolutely stunning
Thank you
Bro your bike is fucking sick! I got a 2019 in red and was thinking of styling it the same. Thanks for the inspo
I like the angle of this handle.

I have the same bike (red, 2021) - I love the blue color! How did you do it? A professional pain shop? Awesome bike!
It's just 3m wrap that I got off amazon I got a 3x5 ft piece which gave me extra to mess up and try again, the color is sky blue
What platform and saddlebags do you use btw?
@@emi_mono I used sw motec saddle bags and mounting system

What handlebar is this?thx
@@stefanozanzara902 they are woodcraft adjustable clip on handle bars
Love it
It lifts on torque alone?? Stock sprockets?
For the most part, it lifts on torque alone. And it is on stock gearing. You only really need to clutch up in 3rd gear up.
@@xavkno Thanks, mate. Looks hella fun, I'm going to get one and play around.
What benefits does it give up? Looking to do the same but wanted to know why you think no
