How come Xue Fei hasn't really gotten many opportunities to play internationally? I think maybe China has given up on high level penhold.

@@DQ2121 he actually played quite a few tournaments in the past 5 years...he just couldn't perform well enough to reach the finals

Xue Fei have very good fast backhand block. Even the best shot to his backhand almost always come back. Better slow and spinny ball to that backhand.
Agreed, in the last set Xue was still receiving the serves badly Anders was blasting third balls and him and he got so many back, was crazy. Perhaps the slow balls gave him more problems

Xu Fei played under his ability in this match. He made too much errors. He make too much risky strokes in normal rallies. Unfortunately for him, he failed in majority of his risky strokes, he himself lost points.

xu fei is mutch more capable in every aspect of the game against he's opponent. He shouldn't lose games like this. He's gut a super start abilities🏓

Not really. Xue Fei is for sure a better trained player, clearly superior in fitness, reaction, and technique so he can beat Anders in the even rally and reach impossible shots and make crazy counters which Anders can't. But Anders wins in the uglier but more important parts of the game: feeling in the short game, variation, first touch and his serve gave the opponent way more trouble. He can give shots the Xue don't understand and mess up his rhythm forcing him to make many mistakes in his first or second attack. He may not be an aesthetically pleasing player but he's a good one and his style is beautiful in it's own way. Just because someone is technically and physically better doesn't mean they're better in 'every' aspect yet even if they might look like it
It is very considerate to call imprecise and unplanned shots a variation. Ender plays like a street ball player, unplanned, random and imprecise shots in the location and amount of rotation. When a trained master player makes variations he does them with intention and precision.
What caused Xue to lose was the transition between game levels .after matches against Ma and Fan. For whom every hit is planned and precise, there are no points by chance and there are no random mistakes.
Felix is better than xue fei .
