Well. around 10 minutes of the video, Moregard was down & out. 0-2 sets down & also trailing in 3rd set, looking at a humiliating 0-3 defeat. But when I saw that its just 11th minute out of 30 mins match, realized something special is about to happen here. One of the Greatest comebacks.
Moregarrd is technically a good player but not very consistent. To me he needs more self-restraint, not to get upset, maintain a strong and positive mentality. Focus is a very important part of the game. Chinese players are the best example.
After Alex misserve, he seems to be affected a lot. Keep a strong mind, and there is a chance to win. Moregard is good at forehand and short balls, and on the other side, Alex weakness is his short forehand.
First 2 game was unbelievable the french guy way stronger but too aggressive.. need to improve in many situation but way more talented in my modest opinion
This game took place in Malmo, Sweden for team European Championship, last year in 2023. This was the semifinal between Sweden and France. This amazing game that led to Truls Moregard win against Alexis LeBrun.
There is no place for you in table tennis. Blaming athletes (who are human beings) from having human reactions is like blaming someone for being sad about a matter.
Truls Moregard tebrik ederim güzel oyun çıkardı ama alexis lebrun servislerini karşılarken cok zorlanıyor ve topu çok kaldırıyor buda alexis avantaj sağladı ilk 2 seti de öyle kaybetti.
Alexis is not only a potential N°1 world champion, with his brother, but he’s a genius. His mind runs at light speed in harmony with his entire body. That’s why he enjures sometime himself, because his body can’t always follow this spiritual light speed. But this will solve by itself as time passes by, because the deepness of his technique will exponentially grow in even more subtilities, and allow his body to achieve much more by much less effort. His salvation is his Technique, already incredible, but that can still grow much much deeper. Such « divine » growing technique will become the perfect bridge between his light speed spirit and his powerful body. The sky is the limit! 🙏

It was really hard to make out what they said but I heard that Truls was frustrated saying "he is not showing anything" which probably means that he doesn't show any weakness. The team says: "Not yet" and they repeat that several times. I believe that they team is telling him to be patient and that Alexis can't keep up this level of play forever and when he shows signs of weakness, Truls can strike (my interpretation). The point is that they did not give any solid advice about the play but that he needs to be patient and wait for his turn.
Its not a bad temper, he was only mad at himself for blowing a lead where he should of won. In my younger days I destroyed 2 Tennis raquets on the ground the same exact way after blowing a match lead, and NOT directed at my opponant. Robert at 69.
