Great video as always. Your plug is quite easy to disassemble, just pull out the small orange piece on the front of the plug with a needle nose pliers which should allow you to pop out the terminals and seal.
It had me puzzled, I’ll know now for the next time. I knew there was bound to be some way of doing it. Pinned your comment to the top so others will see it. Thanks John 👍
It was broken before I broke it, “I just broke it a little more’
Heard that ones on sites before 😂
Brilliant video, always learning something from your videos, you have a great pair of hands on you to tackle any job which in turn makes for a great watch. Honest hard working chap 👍🏼
Ha Ha, I loved that intro Adrian. "It was sorta broken, before I broke it, I just broke it a little bit more, because it was broken already. LOL
This is the best UA-cam channel followed by Tom Pemberton and funky farmer.
Pemberton to full of himself now gone right off him. Not what it used to be

Another very enjoyable video Mr adaptable, if I send you a pattern needles and wool would you knit me a pullover in your spare time , good health to you and yours
Brilliant video Adrian wish I could be as handy as you at fixing tractors well done 👍👌💪
You can certainly get a job as a mechanic if the cow job folds up Adrian . Top class
Can u do a total farm vlog
Keep an eye on the lid accessing the aircon on top of the roof that its not starting to rust will save you alot of bother 👍
Another great video Adrian always Learning something from your video 👍👍👍
Great job! I have a Massey 4355 that needs a good whack on the dash now and again to keep the indicators working. Bad connection probably but the process of fixing it is more daunting than to just give it a whack…
I’m a bit like that myself some mornings 😉
Great to see you turn your hand to everything Adrian. Fair play to ya. 👍
As always Adrian the farm and equipment keep you busy. We all get frustrated from time to time and this usually will cost us money. Thanks for taking us along.
Have a great day!
Excellent video Adrian, its great to see you doing most of your repairs yourself, and it show other people that if you take your time it can be repaired without calling out a mechanic , jobs well done 👍
you always find something different and interesting to share with us Adrian, great work bye the way, you should have you tubed that connector they actually come apart and you can push out the pins, there are special tools to get them out but a man of your means could get by with out them, I remember when shuttle shift started we thought it was revolutionary now look what they are doing I wounder where farming will be in 50 years, great video as usual Adrian thank you
Ya I found out after how them connectors come a part 🙈, tractor and machinery are getting more and more complicated with electric’s, it will be very interesting to see if they stand the test of time like the older ones.
Your the best
Best part of my Sunday
Great job
Time and money saved doing it yourself
Always comes in handy , being handy 👊
Hello, I have an error code on our MF 5435. it flashes first 2 times and then 3 times. Do you have any idea what this could mean?
Always great to see tractors minded and will hold their value.

Good morning in a wet Cavan
Great video again Adrian. Keep up the great work
grab yourself a pair of flush cuts off ebay adrian for cutting excess of cable ties, nothing worse than using side cutters, always leaves the nasty sharp bit sticking out, which tears through skin or when you least expect it
Hi I just want to say you are the best UA-camr you make me smile everyday thank you for everything
Glad to hear that lad 👍
Great job , good video 📹 , jess not much of a summer yet, might come, kieran from Laghey donegal town
There's no stopping you chum..
I can fully understand the frustration. Happens to me all the time. Then it's time to walk away before I destroy whatever is frustrating me. Thanks for pointing out that little screw release for the cap. Not that I have one of those but I would have been one of the guys with the screwdriver trying to get in the top. 😁. Have a great day Sir.
Any chance of a video Adrian of you cursing as a Christmas special 😂
Be like South Park uncut version 🤣
Ferguson’s 54 series are just trouble!!!!
always like how you explaining howe to fix enjoyed
4:36 or as an honest Irish man would say "I got a bit thick with it" 🤣
too funny me dad said fix the light while your in there then you said it made me laugh when you tapped it and started working
Fine job Adrian. You can take them pulgs apart just pull out orange bit and you be able to get pin out .👍
I also wanna be so handy with repairing equipment
Remember it’s only the camera makes me look better than I am, there jobs anyone can do lad 👍
@@IFarmWeFarm Don't be so modest Adrian, I am sure all the girl's in Co Cavan tink you're a looker.
Funny, not only humans have different dialects, birds do too. The blackbird in the background actually sings differently than the one in my courtyard, clearly a blackbird, but different verses.
Yes there black birds Karl, they build in that shed beside where I was every year. There a very protective bird over there nest, if you came anywhere close they would go crazy. Very vocal for sure
Something you may want to look into is a surge protector .It clamps on your battery and protects your electronics while you are welding. Or you could un hook your batterys .
Never knew there was such a thing, I just disconnect the negative on the battery before hand, on older tractors i’d also unplug the alternator.
Good to see it wasn't a hard fix. 👍
We have a Massey 5611with a Dyna 4 where I work and it will not go into first range at all. I've eliminated all electrical possibilities and replaced the range solenoid and switch on the transmission and now waiting on the dealer to diagnose it. I don't want to say it but this tractor has been a lot of trouble but, it has just had a new engine short block from Agco and the head completely redone with less than 1800 hours. It was burning two quarts of oil in less than 50 hours. Our dealer can't believe the trouble we've had since the tractor was new.
I'm not bashing Massey Ferguson but we definitely have the problem child of the family.
Ya I’ve been there but it’s just the way things can go, it can happen with any model or make. Very frustrating. Hopefully it’s nothing to serious 🤞
Great video as always thanks
Good morning

Great video Adrian tidy tractor
Hi Adrian! New subscriber here. I really enjoy your channel. I love learning about farming life. I do have to say of all the channels I follow yours is the cleanest, tidiest farm I have seen .. so well taken care of. I can really appreciate that you love what you do. Thank you!
Farming is so much more complicated than to plant and harvest. Adrian you have made it look easy. Thank you for sharing.🐄🐄
Hi Adrian forgot to say on the 20 video that I put my deadman on the back of the seat where there was a flat bit of steel handy job just reach down behind yourself and flick it on
👍👍😁
👍
A stitch in time saves 9, you're a great man to keep fixing things.
I always think when taking things apart well somebody put it together so there has to be a way to get it apart.
Great video Adrian
Is that a Milwaukee soldering iron I see? 🤔 I thought I was a tool addict 😂
Nice one Adrian, great to be able to fix all the wee problems on the tractor, no bother to yeah, tidy bit of work, keep at her Lad!
Happy Sunday
I like the tee bar on our Massey Ferguson 5712
Hello Adrian so interesting watching your videos I look forward to to them haven't they changed a lot from the massey 20 take care Gerry
Enjoy the practical side of maintaining a farm. Thanks
Patience is a venture and you seem to have lots 😁.great video as usual. 🚜👍🤠
😆🇮🇪👍
Adrian your a mighty man from jp.
Good to see how that shifter works! My Cork husband couldn't have accomplished that without a LOT of F words and C words. ;)
That’s the power of editing them out Linda 🤣👍
I actually believe your hands work at that speed Adrian and there was no Timelapse used in this video 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
I wish 🤣
Cheers mate , good work.
do you wish you still had the 698 . no fiddling with wires to change gears
The 698 was a gem but the cab rust was a major problem. But yes loved that tractor
Should have the tractor running with all lights on when welding on it so as you don’t damage the alternator
Battery earth disconnected in this one, but I have done videos welding before on the tractors where yes I did leave them running. Never had an issue doing that but with the price of diesel at the minute it was a better choice to go with the first option 👍
Love the way it happens to the best of us,great video.
When you’re welding it helps if the tractor is running
Yes very true, in this one I just disconnected the negative terminal on the battery but I have left the it running on others.
Good to see the dewalt tools back in action….😉
Lovely farmers tractor that big enough to do most jobs but nice and handy around the yard. Now you used to a self levelling loader would you go back to a standard one?
Ya the self levelling is very handy. It’s like anything, once you have it you don’t want to go back
Great video as usual Adrian always love them.
What is the make of your cordless soldering iron?
Keep up the good work.
That’s a Milwaukee M12, I got it in January last. Very handy tool
My Father, an Irish Farmer in his youth, was the greatest Fixer I have ever known.
He could Fix or Repair virtually anything.
My Father often said “if you want something taken apart give it to Michael, but if you want it put back together, keep it away from Michael” and he was absolutely correct because I have difficulty putting a Battery in a Clock.
I remember this lad applying for a job and he was asked if he could boil and kettle? “ yes sure “ he replied! Then he was asked if he could drive a forklift?
“ Wait now “ he replied! How big is this kettle…… 😉
I'm the same, I can take things apart with great ease, then when I look at all the bits, I''m flummoxed! Help!!😕
Top class video Adrian, you keep your tractors spotless, maybe sometime you could do a video of how you do an interior and exterior clean
That’s how the kids earn the pocket money 🤣
Great informative video Adrian. Adrian where did you purchase the cameras. I need to buy a reversing camera. Jim.
Auto Sparky Jim, there a video of me fitting it last year there in the library some where.
Thanks Adrian.
Hi hope you disconnected the battery first
Yes always or something just leave the tractor running does the trick Harold
what you need is a good trouble free tractor like a John deere so you could enjoy your work stress free without the frustration.
Never 😉
Great video as always 👍
Great video when are you painting the loader
Yes hopefully this year soon
that would'nt happen to a Case Adrian😉😉
Your right there 👍
👌
Well done great video. Where did you get the camera for loader well done keep it going
There’s a video on it from last years Raymond, Auto Sparky. ie
My god ya wud break an anvil in a bog
You should see me with a crow bar 😉
@@IFarmWeFarm 🤣🤣🤣🤣
We used to say that about I guy we employed, “he’d break an anvil if he stood next to it”. 😂😂😂😂😂
Or that lad is the real Minister of Hardship
Have u thoght anymore about buying a baler
No we won’t be buying any large machinery like that for a while, but I intend to buy one at some stage Caolan.
the soldering iron any chance having a look at it and what you think of it
Milwaukee M12. Bought that in January, very handy and heats up way faster than eletric ones i’ve had.
@@IFarmWeFarm i use the gas one's maybe the rechargable would heat up faster
KUDOS
I’ll be honest Janet, i had to look up what KUDOS meant 🤣. Thank you 😊
Do you spring block calve ? Love the video
my guess to the window seal probabley a cable went through there going to the beacon or ariel before sorting it properly
That could very well be what happened Russell, sometimes if there not opened for a long while the rubber can stick to the cab and rip when opened. 👍
Great video Adrian 👍. When you were welding the camera bracket on the loader is there an issue with the current from the welder damaging the electrics in the tractor?
Very good point, I always remove the negative terminal of the battery first or leave the tractor running. Never had an issue once that is done. On older tractors I would also remove the plug going into the alternator
Great thanks Adrian . Handy to know 👍
We have a 5480 on our farm we absolutely love it
Never had an issue with the t bar
Our clutch is terrible
We're swapping her for a 6s soon
so have we 12000 hrs pulls like a train
