The Amazon links are for a string of 1.5mm diameter, I guess that’s your recvendation, what’d be the result of using a thicker/thinner diameter?

I always like to use Blue Hawk string from Lowes, inexpensive and durable and it comes with its own little blade for cutting. Really good stuff.
