AF1911 Romulus Comped
Переглядів 4,2 тис.Місяць тому
#alphafoxtrot #af1911 #romulus In the 500 round test of the compensated AF1911 Romulus we hit a catastrophic failure. The ejector rod warped/bent so bad where the slide would not go into battery. The slide went from a buttery smooth action to gradually getting harder to chamber a round. This is simply due to the amount of rounds put through the Romulus. Mainly because at the 200 round mark I st...

Where is the over insertion you all are talking about? 🤷♂️ I see insertion no harder than a competition shooter would insert. If that thing is that delicate, maybe they should come out with a stronger ejector.
@@Hangfire79 i agree. I don’t think I was slamming the mags any harder than competition shooters like you stated. But this is a problem for sure. I got the gun back today. Talked with the company. And now we can officially do the review now knowing the issue that was at cause. Which was operator error
Sure it's not the prodigymags a lot of issues another 2011
I did notice this on mine, what mags would prevent this?
@@dapperthedon flush mag with the magwell. Any extended mags that don’t have extended baseplates can cause this. Best way to COMPLETELY avoid it, is to not do drop slide reloads (slide release reloads). Put the mag in. Rack the gun. By doing that there’s no chance the mag can bend the ejector.
@@Lit-UP.mbx 121mm? appreciate it man i’m subbing👍🏼
@ I’m not sure about MBX mags. My Romulus did not come with those. Mine came with 2 Checkmate 2011 mags. This link will take you to the 17 round mag that is flush with the magwell. tisasusa.com/tisas-checkmate-1911-double-stack-2011-magazine-9mm-17rd/
@ appreciate the sub brother!

Predz?
Chat i think im chronically on Spotofy-
I've actually gotten to play with the big boy 12g version of these and they are crazy effective in a 6 by 8 prison cell
It’s said the screams of horror from killer mains were heard everywhere that day. All fearing the day the survivors find that round.
Literally a Solar Flare round 😭
this looks like less or comparable light than an actual shotgun round would create what why bother?
That, was a fucking BLAST🙂
Can you put an flash round and a normal one inside of a double barrel
Where can I buy one for my 12 gauge 😂
@@isaacsutphen6046 Firequest.com 🤘🏻exotic shotgun ammo. We have a full length vid posting soon of some really oddball shit 😂
Yk what, HELLL YEAA😂
@@Winta_og 🤣😂🇺🇸
Its like snapping a picture of a shotgun barrel into someones retinas 😂😂
Considering Browning himself didn’t like the 1887, ill go with the bullpup
I'm going Calvin Candie style with these tricks!
That was awesome😂
Nice review and the gun looks great. I have two originals and both take only 5+1 cartridges so just like your review gun. It could be that some have fewer coils in the spring but I have never seen one like that. Mine are 1st year productions and I don't have to rack them hard at all but it is a long stroke. Ejection is by the next cartridge pushing the previous one out so only the last one sometimes needs to be removed manually; I am sure yours will improve with some good lubrication and plenty of use. The finish on the review gun is a bit more matt looking and while the originals were not highly polished they are not as matt looking like that example but a good coating of gun oil may do the trick. Keep up the great work.
who put a gun in there bruh
I would take both.
I have one question: Whips are used to hit in front, side, or back side. I am wondering about the up side. In fact I wonder if a whip can hit a drone flying ? ( and I am not talking about the distance) Do you think that feasible ? Thanks
@@bentoucourt if your talking about cracking a whip straight up in the air? Yeah it can be done! Just not really safely. Gravity is working against you in that situation
@@Lit-UP. Yes that was my question ! Thanks for the answer.
we flinging off a head with this one
Only got mine out a couple times last year but this year it is game on. Good video.
To crack a whip outdoors when it's 5 degrees is courageous..... I prefer to watch your video 😁!
Glad to see you understand you caused the failure.
100% operator error, bro. This would also happen on a $7000 gun. Do not jam mags on an open slide.
Hell yeah, two thumbs up.
Those combos bro!
Always here for the bull whips
I just broke my cracker today on a cheap whip, kinda sad yet satisfying in a weird way😂
We had a strong feeling this wasn’t going to work simply due to us not having an actual fire whip. Fire whips are made out of Kevlar. But we tried anyways 🤷🏻♂️
Both any other answer is wrong!!
Depends on the situation. If your life is on the line, the semi
Both Shotguns are Great 👍
Мужик, все зависит от ситуации. И самое лучшее оружие то, которое у тебя под рукой в нужный момент
The use for a semi-automatic shotgun really eludes me. Just in case for when you accidentally step into a polar bear meeting? Or for when your house gets attacked by a swarm of angry rabid raccoons?
When I shoot my DS 1911s, such as my Hayes, I use a 126 mm magazine. If I use a 140 mag, I attach an appropriate baseplate to prevent over-insertion.

Ill take the bullpup cause all the lever actions are terribly unreliable. Thats why the pump won.
