I got the parts list from Russ. 1,544.08 is what he gave me for all the parts on the list. Is that what you got? Did you get everything on the list? How much did you get the predator 670 for? I know they're currently back at 999 but last week Google came up with a link to HF website with a couple code and had them at 855 I think.
how has the engine been? thinking about getting one but hearing they can be headaches as well. thinking I just might get a honda and take the purchase pain for a bit.
That pipe nipple you used to connect the unloader to the pump will see full outlet pressure all the time, plus the vibration and the weight of the unloader. I would strongly recommend you consider making sure that is a heavy duty part, like a stainless Sch80 part. They are $13 from McMaster.
The only thing I would recommend is to run the engine for 3 hrs on idle before assembling it to break it in. At least it was that way for my 13hp build.
Nice set up, just put together a 420cc with 4000psi 4gpm. I like your set up, where did you get pulleys, belt(size), mounting plate. I'm planning on building on like yours. Let us know how it works.
and. how the heck did you get the bolt in and tightened that is back side bolt of pump that is behind the shield? the bolts are totally blocked by shield, you got to bolt from bottom of skid right? but how you hold bolt on top of skid plate under pump that is behind shield? thanks!

Hey mike how did you tensioned the belt without getting the pump misaligned when I tighten down the alignment bolt on the side the belt tensions but my pump gets misaligned and pulls to one side
I just ordered that same pump, it's 7gpm/3600psi but can go up to 8gpm with a bigger engine, but I mean, it Maxes out at 8gpm. It's a 2-gunner and/or gun/surface cleaner. And it comes right handed from Italy but when it comes to the US, they switch some to left. So the machine is ambidextrous 😂😂

I couldn't find a good video on how to install or change belts. Didn't know about the bolt under the pump to add and release the tension on the pulley. Just to make sure. So basically can i just release the bolt then change the belt without taking off the pulley? Or do i still need to take off the pulley first, then loosen the tension? Let me know if that correct. to remove the second pulley, remove the two setscrews then insert it into the hole 90 degrees from the other two screw holes. and it will push the sheave off the bushing

Just got my stuff from Russ. Geez that water pump is huge, weighs like 60 or 70 lb, I wear a size 16 shoe and it's about the length of my foot. The water pump and the unloader are a lot bigger than what they seem on UA-cam or websites. I got the GP YU21405 unloader. Everything else looks about what it appear size-wise.
@@vincesmith5846 I ended up buying a pulley that was close to the correct size and am having a machinist bore it and fabricate the bushing. Since I started this process I have found some kits online. envirospec.com/catalog/pulleys-bushings/ I would call the company above to ensure compatibility but that should do it.
on the outlet side of the unloader, I'd put a stainless steel sched 80 tee in there and attach a 5000psi liquid filled pressure gauge so you can adjust down the pressure if you like.

Here is your formula you need to know.......PSI X GPM / pump rpm x 1.5= hp needed. So. In other words. 3500x8 =28000. ...... 28000/1460? =19.17 The 19.17 is what you need for HP using electric motor..Check documents for pump rpm .. but for gas power you multiply the electric horsepower x 1.5 to get the horsepower needed for gas engine..... in your case it’s 28.76 hp....
You can do all that math you want but if that’s true then clearly NONE of the Honda gx690 Motors would be big enough yet they all run them pumps good so

I used both of them for years. The 4 gpm got about 3500 psi, ran for 2 1/2 hours one tank. The 8 gpm machine got about 1800 psi and ran for 1 1/2 hours same size gas tank. My friend had 2 machines, 18 hp hondas with 8 gpm pump, and that 18 hp was just way better than my 13 hp 8gpm, but my machine worked great for many years, no complaints, when washing roofs or houses of dark cedar or moss etc, (1800 psi not enough for serious peeling/cleaning). I can tell you, 22 hp on 8gmp is way more than enough hp imo

I don't know about that 1 I'm pushing close to 10 gallons per minute I've been using it for 6 months flawlessly so I don't know where you get your information but it's working out great for me.
This pump requires 1,750 RPM for 8.8 GPM. At the engine's maximum torque, it's at 2,500 RPM. It's more than enough. I know guys running this same pump on small Honda gx390's and they get around 5.6 GPM. This pump says it pushes a max of 8.8 GPM but going even higher, with the right parts, seems achievable.

Atomic935 don’t mess with the belt drive stuff, go to Envirospec and get a gear reducer ! I had belt driven units when I first started then sold that trailer and built a new one with gear reduced units and I will never look back! So much easier and safer , never have to worry about belt tension and if you have a problem with the engine you don’t have to fight getting the pulleys off and fighting the belt guard, space saving too
I'm building the exact same build today!!!!! Same unit today cost me $2500 but still way cheaper than buying a prebuilt one.

I bought i 3 amp battery tender just alligator clip to negative and positive and plug in and boom your good( it charges while running as well)
The only thing I worry about is there is no bearing on the output shaft. It’s a bushing. But I guess it worked out.

In belguim a honda 690xr 300bar 26l belt drive cousts 10. 000€ in EU. Way overpriced
Dude... that motor is not near enough HP to run that pump at those specs... you need at a minimum 29hp

Put a 31hp motor on it and run max gpm. It is a monster!
