    Hey Jeremy, so i noticed the spacers between the pump and the engines crankcase. I wonder why they are there. Because on any gx390 or similar washer, theres no spacers. It just bolts direct, pump to engine with no issues. It just seems like a lot of risk of water or even moisture getting in, and causing absolute chaos. Or even worse SH

      @@KentuckyWashPros if you increase the throttle lever, will the gear box keep the rpm’s at the right rpm then? And if it does NOT , then even with the gear box, how the heck would I know if the throttle is in the right spot for the machine to be hitting that 1750 rpm?

    • @AKOHFLOMO
      @AKOHFLOMO 22 дні тому

      @@BenPanek Most gear boxes run at a 2.2:1 ratio, so if you run your engine full throttle at 3600 rpm, on a 1750 rpm rated pump the gear reduction will spin it at 1636 (3600 divided by 2.2) which is close enough, but you may not get the rated gpm/psi of the pump, so you can adjust the engine rpm to 3800.

Your videos actually show this equipment in use. And are you still having issues with the predator 670 fuel pump? I've heard from many sources it's complete trash and should be replaced. My big question is how is the ar30? Seeing it in action on your channel made me want to order one today

    • @KentuckyWashPros
      @KentuckyWashPros  2 роки тому +1

      @@ctbulldogs3518 I built my budget build from Heaths parts list but at the time there wasn’t really an in depth build video, so I decided to make one. The only thing that may be different is the links I needed up getting nearly all my stuff from PWP. I think at the time there were only a handful of people running these builds and not a whole lot of experience with or info on them.
      I am still having issues with the 670, I have switched the fuel pump out once and not luck with that and I am about to switch it out again this time with a Mikuni fuel pump and if necessary I’m going to add a low pressure 12v fuel pump. I believe that it could partially the fuel tank causing the issues as well. The 670 has moments that it runs great when it is getting enough fuel.
      The AR 30 is a beast, I love it and would recommend anyone to build one.

      I don't think you heard correctly. I set a timer for 3 hours when I started the engine for the break-in process. I shut off the engine at 3 hours and my timer went off. The hour meter matched the timer that I set. So if the hour meter would have run differently than the timer, then it would be a faulty hour meter and not worth using....Not sure what kind of point you're trying to make.
