The #6 size VMC Bladed Hybrid Treble is the one I use 90% of the time.
    fishusa.rv5k.net/rPA0G
It’s perfect for #11 Original Floaters, #7 Shallow Shad Raps, #12 Husky Jerks, #9 Jigging Raps, and #6 Rippin’ Raps.
Most sites will list the stock hook size that come on their cranks, go by that and it’s a direct swap.

Literally just arrived home from Canada and would have loved to try this while trolling for lakers! Will be adding these for next time!

With many different new ideas to help get more bites seams like the simple little changes a kid might like is the way I like to go ,can’t wait to really give this a try on a very heavily fished lake

Little tweaks...A few years ago my wife and I were trolling over spins with a 1/8 jig heads and a 1-2" piece of crawler for crappie...rods,reels,line,jigs,all identical except my spinner blade had a small pink eye glued on,that caught 80% of the fish. Honey net my fish were the words of the evening.lol

Great tip, thanks! Just tried this out on a night bite northern Wisco trip. Had 2 identical baits, same color, speed, line out, the one with the bladed treble caught ALL the fish! Including a 26" inland giant released. Great content!!

I googled how to make bladed treble hooks...of course after I ordered a pack of them so I can try out right away. Not to difficult. Only thing I do not have laying around are size 1 willow leaf and some epoxy or rezin. Looking forward to using on my Old Husky perch H13's, hopefully don't lose any more to musky. Thanks for the video!

Just got back from Gull lake no luck on the night trolling, ended up finding the eyes on the weeds along with crappie on crawler harnesses tip with a leech trolling over the weeds in 12 to 15 feet of water with a bullet weight

This might sound stupid , but maybe Rapala should be improving the lure then and adding them to full line up. Just saying!

Maybe try some enamel paint on the shaft and bends leaving the points and barbs clear? It wont last forever, but could be worth the experiment.

I am fishing a pond that at the deepest is 23 ft,I know there are walleye in it and I have not caught one yet for years. What length crank bait should I use and how fast to troll.

    • @sethpeake
      @sethpeake 2 роки тому

I would use and scatter taildancer, size 09. Or the scatter glass shad rap, size 07. Both can be bought without the scatter option. Example. The deep tail dancer. Then glass shad rap.
Also. Look for Walleye Nation Creations. The Reaper! Use something with purple in it.
Another also, smithwicks lures. I bought the 5 pack of deep runners. They work fantastic. But I usually lean towards anything Rapala. But both W.N.C. and Smithwicks are just as good!
And kind work all speeds when your out there. A little faster with thinner line will get you down deeper. I use braid for sensitivity. Also use a fluorocarbon leader attached by an Albright knot. With a bearing snap swivel. Black. My braid is suffix 832 braid. 20 pound. Which is 6 pound equivalent. So it thin.
Hope that helps you out. Tight lines!

Hey Carl, it's a treble hook that already comes with that resin-sealed swivel and blade on it. Just swamp it out for the stock hook. Slick!
