how are you supposed to know what the colour is of the product formed (Iron Sulfide) 8:58
I think you get like a sheet in the test that gives you all the colours of the solutions
you pretty much just have to know them. The best thing to do is watch a bunch of videos like this to get a solid grasp on it.

5:38 how come the Mg isn't Mg2+
Because there also has to be two oxygen atom and instead of writing it Mg2O2 you can just have the two at the fron and have 2MgO
because its an atom not an ion
