Just found your channel tonight. What a great video - surprised you don't have a bigger following! We're moving back to Scotland soon after years away and hoping to find work and somewhere to live on the west coast so that we can get out sailing. We're dreaming of buying an old Nicholson in the near future. Great to see the west coast like this! Oh and we love your Springer! Fair winds ⛵
Lovely, brought back happy memories of sailing the west coast. Dorus Mor was always fun. Once anchored and while we stowed the sails, our Gordon Setter used to launch herself and swim to shore to wait for us and her walk. 😊
Very glad that you enjoyed it, and that it rekindled lovely memories. Fortunately our spaniel has learnt to wait for her walks, although she will leap out of the dinghy well before we make the shore!
Actually not the mainsail track but the masthead sheaves for the main halyard. The halyard is external and goes over a pair of them. Don't worry, its on the todo list.
Good stuff, my kind of sailing. I do much of the same thing in the fjords of Norway, and drop a video every now and then, check them out if you like. I'll trto locate that subscribe button now. Thanks for shearing. Best regards from Jarle
Thanks for the feedback Jarle, and glad that you enjoyed the video. We would love to explore Norway at some stage, so will definitely check out your videos.
Enjoying watching your videos , realised we’re mooring neighbours!
Thanks for the feedback on our videos! I hope that you aren't on your boat today - wet and windy at the moment.
@@tarbertsailing had planned to come last Saturday …. I’ll wait till the weather settles!
Watching from Australia. Beautiful scenery.....thank you very much....:)
Really glad you enjoyed it!

Thank you! As for the mad springer - well she lives for the beaches :)
Great Video ,,
Thanks. Glad you enjoyed it!
Love that part of Scotland. Very much enjoyed the video
So glad you enjoyed it. We love the West Coast too! We've done loads of sailing this year, and a lot of catch up required on the video editing.
Beau terrain de jeu pour faire de la voile 👍
it certainly is a very beautiful sailing ground - we love it.
@@tarbertsailing It looks like the Gulf of Morbihan to the south of Little Brittany where I sail , bigger and colder of course 😬 Best wishes 👍

I've just found your channel on UA-cam. Thank you for sharing this vision. May I ask what type of yacht this is as she is very handsome?
So glad that you enjoyed the video. Our boat is a Nicholson 35, built in 1972. She is a brilliant sea boat and a great passage maker.
😯😍👍 Gruss aus Switzerland
Toll! Danke für den beitritt zu uns. :)
Put some lubricant on that mainsail mast track! Noise = wear ! Fair winds.

@@tarbertsailing A wee drop of oil or silicone spray then. Fair winds.
That should do the trick. Thanks for the reminder.
