Yo Kansas fire alarms i got a question for u: So there is a school in Hawaii that has a fire alarm system pretty much outside, btw the system is like 20+ years old but anyways the system is always in alarm mode and whenever it rains the system goes off so yeah it is pretty messed up also the pull stations, and the alarms are pretty corroded. The panel looks ok but doesn't look the best. Anyways my question is do you think it can be fixed or do u think we need an entire new system?
Anything can be fixed. The I assume there is an underground wire that is nicked that shorts out when water hits it. I would run a new zone/SLC cable as that should stop false alarms. New pull stations too
@@kansasfirealarms5101 btw the school and church is 3 separate buildings that the systems are all linked together there is the middle school building the church building and the main school building middle school has a simplex panel and the main building has a old smaller Johnson Controls panel.

Alarms:
System 1: Wheelock 7002-24's (rebranded by Spectronics)
System 2: System Sensor Horn/strobe
Yep
Another day, another video by Kansas Fire Alarms. The Spectronic's sounded great, but how come there are two systems?
They were 2 different buildings.
@@kansasfirealarms5101 I see. But how come both systems were being activated? Are they connected in some way?
@@TFEAS-09 no, they are 40 miles apart from eachother
@Kansas Fire Alarms Oh, I see, two videos in one?
Wheelock 7002s
That would be incorrect. They were Spectronics branded. Don’t know the M/N though
