We have purchased cabana for multiple days. Which is sea front for $100 USD. They end up putting 19 chairs front of us because a lady yelled she was someone is wife. Showing later in the afternoon. We have purchased sea view we only got palms view and some partiel sea view 1307. 1309, 1311… should be the same. They kept all good rooms to be sold as an upgrade-upsale for new arrivals. The staff are very nice and friendly the food is good.
Big fan of dreams! We paid into the AMR Members on a trip we just got back from DR and we are thinking of going here or Jade next! 21 free nights to spend at any Dreams resort! Woooo
The transportation was pretty nice, however that varies depending on how much you are open to spend. I usually blow through huge sums of money on vacation so I do not mind the costs.
Thanks for the tour! We are going in a few weeks for a wedding. We are staying for 7 nights with the preferred package. Anything else special about the upgraded package? And anything I should do right when we get there? Wife and I will be a day before the wedding party.
I am glad you enjoyed the video! The upgrade is mostly access to the prefered club and potential special help with reservations at restaurants, and of course, the best rooms at the resort. And as for what to do first thing, I would suggest going to the italian or french restaurants. They often get booked to the brim, and I would say showing up early would help secure a table
So outside of the room, does anyone actually confirm that you are a preferred guest? For example like going into the preferred club or grabbing a chair? Im sure they are on top of the day beds since they charge like 50 or 100 bucks for those. Trying to decide if the extra money is worth the upgrade.
The only confirmation of being a prefered club guest is the key card scan, so it might be worth it if the prefered club and its ammenities seem valuable to you. I personally pay the extra money for an extra dining location and the room, but aside from that it is a slight upgrade overall.
Does the preferred club restaurant at this resort have better food? Does it serve more high-end food or just like the other restaurants? Any sushi on the resort that you know?
The prefered club usually has somewhat higher end food during the afternoon/evening, but they are smaller portions with tons of little dishes on display so it’s not an order-based system. As for sushi, I’m not entirely sure if there is anywhere that serves it, since I personally can’t eat it.
I generally gave $5 for ordering a drink by the pool, $10-20 for food each day (so before leaving the pool I would usually give the pizza vendors $20 a day, or at a restaurant I would tip the same), and I would give like $50-$100 to the staff I am friends with.
I'm trying to understand the all-inclusive aspect of the resort, does this include room service for food and drinks? I have a stay booked for spring break.
Yes I would. There are ramps everywhere, such as with the lobby and the walkway down to the main area, and there are plenty of rooms that are on the ground level. The only part that would be a bit of an issue would be the italian restaurant and the sports bar, since the only ways up are by using stairs. Outside of that, there is a solid selection of restaurants that are easily accessable 👍
Blue waters about 20 feet out. The section where the water meets the shore has decent sized waves so it churns up some sand. The beach is pretty nice, very soft sand due to the coral reef in the distance, and the tide doesn’t change all that much through the day.
Oh it’s a wonderful resort. The rooms are really nice, the food is great, getting from place to place is really easy and quick, and the staff is great. I would absolutely recommend this resort
Was there last year - loved it. The room, pools, beach and restaurants were great.

Great value dude I’m getting married there in may thank for the update
Its a stellar resort. I hope you have a great time there 😎👍
nice video
Nice overview of the resort. We’re going in October for a wedding. How is the airport transport to the resort?
The transportation was pretty nice, however that varies depending on how much you are open to spend. I usually blow through huge sums of money on vacation so I do not mind the costs.

@@TheSEAempire .. is this kid friendly?? As to game rooms ??. Or only adults here
Bro just admit that you drank all 4 beers in the mini fridge. I'm 16 and going in 2 weeks. I'm just tryna find out how to get my hands on the nectar.

Is there a Preferred pool area like the one in Dominican republic? Adults ONLY pool area?
Unfortunately not 😕
How was the beach when you were there? I've seen two different reviews regarding the water not being like clean or clear?
The beach is pretty nice, however the water is pretty murky as a byproduct of the nearby coral reef
Headed there this week... Can i ask what the standard tip you did for staff there? 5 nights for our duration.
I generally gave $5 for ordering a drink by the pool, $10-20 for food each day (so before leaving the pool I would usually give the pizza vendors $20 a day, or at a restaurant I would tip the same), and I would give like $50-$100 to the staff I am friends with.
@@TheSEAempire Thanks!!
@@dzaagman82 no problem!
Are you able to get a stroller around?
Yes there is space for strollers 👍
Does anybody know if the rock wall is still there or did the resort remove it?
Which rock wall? Where was it?
@TheSEAempire it was a rock wall the resort built out in the sea that kepted the mucky waters and seaweed away.
Is there any adult beverages in the rooms?
There are! They take requests too as to what drinks you want delivered
Dreams Jade and Dreams Rivera are two different hotels?
Yes they are
I'm trying to understand the all-inclusive aspect of the resort, does this include room service for food and drinks? I have a stay booked for spring break.
Yep! Room service for food and drinks is included. The only exception is for the “romantic dinners” packages, which can be hundreds of dollars.
@@TheSEAempire Thank you so much!
What room did you have?
I had one of the prefered conjoined rooms close to the elevator on the south building, with a pool view
I am planning on taking my grandfather, he is in a wheelchair. Would you say this place is wheelchair accessible ?
Yes I would. There are ramps everywhere, such as with the lobby and the walkway down to the main area, and there are plenty of rooms that are on the ground level. The only part that would be a bit of an issue would be the italian restaurant and the sports bar, since the only ways up are by using stairs.
